Check out the rockstar herself, Ms. LTH, who started this foodie survey craze... SunnyBwho lovingly hijacked it.... ,Christine who, like me, couldn't resist a good survey! Cookin Bug and Trishie....I carry on the tradition!
 

 
1. How do you like your eggs? 
I'm not a huge egg person, but if I have to eat one; over medium.

2. How do you take your coffee/tea? 
 black with sugar.   Tea, straight up no sugar.

3. Favorite breakfast food:  
When is lunch?  Not a huge breakfast person.

4. Peanut butter: Smooth or crunchy?  
 Smooth!  Crunchy hurts my gums.

5. What kind of dressing on your salad?  
Maybe I should tell you what I don't like....Thousand Island.  Anything else, we are good!

6. Coke or Pepsi?  
 Neither.  Quit drinking it 10 years ago and lost 10 pounds in the process

7. You’re feeling lazy, what do you make? 
Tuna cassarole.

8. You’re feeling really lazy. What kind of pizza do you order?  
Canadian bacon and shrooms.

9. You feel like cooking. What do you make?  
 Lots of stuff.

10. Do any foods bring back good memories?  
  pickled eggs reminds me of my Daddy.

11. Do any foods bring back bad memories?  
Not really.  I have really fond food memories.

12. Do any foods remind you of someone?  
 Raison tarts- so yummy and remind me of my Aunt Mimi.  I should submit the recipe here.  Aunt Mimi's fried chicken with potatoe salad and a lemon cake for desert.  My Aunt Mimi was the greatest cook ever and the biggest sport.  A wonderful women.  Wish you could have all met her.
 
13. Is there a food you refuse to eat?  
  Lima Beans.

14. What was your favorite food as a child?  
The meal I always wanted for my birthday was spaghetti.

15. Is there a food that you hated as a child but now like?  
 tomatoes.
 
16. Is there a food that you liked as a child but now hate?  
balony and ketchup sandwich with lettuce.

17. Favorite fruit and vegetable:  
 blueberries, cauliflower

18. Favorite junk food:  
 onion dip with potatoe chips.
 
19. Favorite between meal snack:  
cheese

20. Do you have any weird food habits?  
 I always smell my food before I put it in my mouth.
 
21. You’re on a diet. What food(s) do you fill up on?  
 I don't diet...life is to short.

22. You’re off your diet. Now what would you like? 
I like any food that goes with socializing.
 
23. How spicy do you order Indian/Thai?  
 medium.
 
24. Can I get you a drink?  
Yes please!

25. Red or White Wine?  
 either, I'm an equal opportunity drinker.

26. Favorite dessert?  
I love chocolate cake with buttercream frosting.
 
27. The perfect nighcap? 
Bailey's on the rocks, but just one!

Good job SWEETJAM! " I always smell my food before I put it in my mouth." My son is a sniffer like this. He smells everything, though. He used to embarass me when we went somewhere new, he was always sniffing at the carpet or furniture... Glad you surveyed! :)

Smelling your food, I remember a M*A*S*H episode that included that habit.

No Thousand Island?!?! I go through that like crazy; I used it on my sandwiches, my salads, with chicken sometimes... I guess not everyone else loves the yummy goodness of 1000 Island :)

Hey SWEETJAM! I just came back to read this again for some reason, and I had missed the pickled eggs question the first time -- pickled eggs remind me of MY daddy, too! How weird is that? THEN I noticed that you thought people might be concerned about your dipping fetish, which confused me (and concerned me), since there is nothing to reference one except for onion dip, which I wouldn't really put in the category of 'fetish.' THEN I realized that you had copied and pasted your list from Cookin Bug, and I just feel so much better about everything and not confused at all. JAM on! :)

I love to cook and have often thought I should have gone to culinary school. My biggest cooking influence is my mother she is really a good cook, but I look up to my brother who has never used a recipe in his life....he cooks by taste; a little of this and that and it is always amazing. I cook almost every night for my family. My true passion is entertaining. I secretly want to be Martha Stewart...he he!!
My favorite things to cook
I like good soup and hearty meals. I also love to come across a good apetizer recipe. I recently purchased a bread machine and have really enjoyed using it. I'm not baking so much now that my daughter is doing a lot of it around here.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Baklava every Christmas. It looks like you spent all day in the kitchen, but it is a snap! My dad made stuffing every holiday. It is still the best I have ever tasted with apples and raisons. YUMMY!
My cooking triumphs
I will try anything, once! I made that italian dish they always talk about on Everybody Loves Raymond. It was time consuming, but interesting to make. I always say if you can follow a recipe you can be a good cook. Teaching my daughter the love of cooking and baking. When I'm out of town she actually gets a hot meal on the table and can even make home made bread. I'm so proud of her. She will be making all the pies for Thanksgiving dinner this year.
My cooking tragedies
The biggest one is a recipe for brussel sprouts that you steamed than cooked in a jelly of some sort. I didn't think I was steaming them long enough. They were raw! Very dissapointing side dish to a Thanksgiving meal!
