Baked Chicken with Mushroom Gravy

The kids loved this dish. Next time I will thin out the gravy a little though. Otherwise, PERFECT!!!

Golden Rum Cake

I start the glaze when I take the cake out of the oven. I let the cake sit in the pan while I am making the glaze. Once the glaze is ready, I remove the cake from the pan, pour half the glaze in the bottom of the pan, and then I carefully put the cake back in the pan making sure I line the ridges up. I then poke holes all over the cake with a butter knife, I then pour the remaining glaze onto the cake (don't let it go over the hole). Let it stand for 10 minutes or so, then carefully flip the cake over onto your serving dish -- DO NOT REFRIGERATE That advice came courtesy of another allrecipes.com cook. Everything else I did as instructed. This cake is ALWAYS a hit..

Classic Red Velvet Cake

I made this cake for Thanksgiving for my extended family. It was the very first dessert that was gobbled up...and we had 5 cakes and 5 pies. There were quite a few comments about the cake being dry on allrecipes. I mixed in 1/4 cup of oil after all of the other ingredients were added. The cake was very moist. I tripled the frosting recipe because my family really loves it. Sprinkled chopped pecans on the top after it ws frosted. It turned out to be a beautiful cake.

Key Lime Cake II

I made this cake for my sister. She said it was "delish". I did make changes as some had suggested. I changed the lime juice amount to 8 tablespoons. Also, the cake mix was changed to white cake mix. I melted homemade cream cheese frosting and pour it over the cake once it was cool. Four stars only because I had to alter the recipe.

Corn Casserole

Very good. However, I would recommend baking it about 10-15 minutes longer than suggested. Also, like everyone else, I did cut the margarine in half. One cup was just way too much margarine.

Lyndsie's Dr. Pepper® Meatballs

This recipe was so easy and tasty. My kids enjoyed it. I eagerly passed this recipe on to my friends who have since made it for their families. I will make this dinner again. Most of the ingredients were already in my kitchen. I love how the soda gives the meal just a hint of sweetness.
