Buttercream Frosting

Reviewed: May 23, 2010
Really easy, minimal ingredients, barely needed any milk making a half-recipe. Good basic recipe to rely on.

Banana Banana Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2009
I burnt the loaf and didn't measure the bananas, but it STILL came out good! This is a simple recipe with minimal ingredients, but still has great flavor. I know I'll be making this again.

Cream of Spinach Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2009
I added garlic, onion, and paprika to the ingredients, but otherwise made the recipe as written. I thought it had a great flavor, and I love that it was so quick and simple to make. I'll use this recipe again and again as a base and try different combinations of vegetables and spices in the future.

Tortilla Rollups IV

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2009
These were quite good, but more importantly easy to make and a pretty appetizer to serve. I'll definately make them again.

Campbell's Skillet Chicken Parmesan

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2009
Easy recipe, minimal mess. I cut the chicken in to small pieces and breaded it before browning and to cook it faster. I'm sure it adds calories, but also is crunchier and soaks up the sauce- yum. Not a fancy dish, but quick recipe with minimal ingredients- will probably make this fairly often (serving over spaghetti of course).

Jewish Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2009
I omitted the nuts without changing anything else about the recipe. 1 hour was too long in my oven- next time i'll take it out after 45 min- but it was still an excellent coffee cake that I will make again and again!

Ginger Glazed Mahi Mahi

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2007
Excellent, easy-to-make glaze and marinade, lots of flavor with a few ingredients. I'd use it on all types of meats, and have also cooked the glaze in to rice and cous-cous.

Chicken Breasts Stuffed with Perfection

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2005
I skipped the sun-dried tomatos because I don't like them (and I didn't have them on hand), and this recipe was still great. I had left over feta-spinach stuffing which I spread and toasted on top of flatbread as an appitezer- yum. The stuffing is so good, I will make it alone to serve a dip with triangles of pita or flatbread.

Savory Crab Stuffed Mushrooms

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2004
I made this recipe for friends, and everyone loved the mushrooms. I added extra lemon juice and black pepper, and chopped up the crabmeat as much as I could. I think I used too much wine, but they still turned out great!

Homestyle Turkey, the Michigander Way

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2004
I used this recipe on a 17 lb. turkey for my first thanksgiving hosting, and it was great! The meat was very tender and perfectly cooked; my guests all enjoyed it. I browned the turkey for about 45 min before putting on the foil tent, then took the foil off again for the last 30 min. or so.

Maria's Stuffed Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: Jun. 24, 2003
Wow- this was a great recipe! I serve it over spaghetti and used the lefover stuffing mix for other pasta dishes- it's great for stuffed pasta, or mix with tomato sauce for a lighter, tomato-spinach pasta sauce. I'll make this recipe for anyone I want to impress!

Baklava

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2003
This was a great recipe and much easier to make than I thought it would be! Next time I make it, I'll use less nuts. I also pushed whole cloves into the center of each square for decoration.
