Aunt Millie's Broccoli Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2006
Not bad! I made this for Thanksgiving dinner and it was a big hit. I used crushed Ritz crackers for the topping and sharp cheddar cheese. It turned out fine and was pretty easy to make too!

Bacon Ranch Dip

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2006
This was just OK. I made it to go with beer bread and I needed to spice it up a bit with some onion, garlic, and pepper. Even then it had the taste and consistency of salad dressing. I probably won't make again.

Cookies 'n' Creme Fudge

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2005
LOVE this recipe!! I go overboard at Christmas with making cookies and candies, and this one has become a staple in my lineup. It's a more unusual fudge that kids and adults love. :)

Garlic Mashed Potatoes Secret Recipe

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2005
YUM YUM YUM!!!! I made these last night for our anniversary and they were awesome! I love the garlic flavor - I used minced garlic and a little garlic powder. Be careful of the oregano - a little does go a long way. But these are wonderful and I will definitely be making them again!

This is an absolute staple in my house. I use it all the time when my husband and I have our parents over for dinner. My dad can be quite picky but he LOVES this recipe!

Slow Cooker Roast Beef

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2003
Made this for my boyfriend and my parents and it turned out GREAT. I used more meat than the recipe called for (I used 5 pounds) so I needed extra gravy. I used a can of low-sodium Beef Broth along with low-sodium soy sauce, and WOW what flavor!!! This one is a keeper for sure!

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2003
I was very exicted to try these as I'm a BIG chocolate chip lover. I'm sorry to say they FLOPPED big time. I only made 1 sheet of them. I tossed the remainder of the dough and the baked cookies to boot. The dough was very greasy and too fluid to begin with. I tried adding extra flour after the first batch came out yucky and still couldn't salvage it. I don't know what I did wrong - I followed the recipe to the T with the exception of greasing the cookie sheets (I didn't grease them). I'm glad everyone else seems to like them but I'm sticking to the Ghiardelli recipe on the back of their chocolate chips - It's excellent

Caramel Filled Chocolate Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2003
I made 2 batches this past Christmas and the first one was EXCELLENT. The second, however, turned out dry and crumbly (and I used the exact same things in both batches). I did bake the first batch at my home, and the 2nd at my mother's though, so it may be an oven variation thing. But I used Rolo candies and they were a popular hit with my family this past Christmas

The Best Double Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2003
Made these for Christmas 2002 and they turned out pretty good - I did have to add extra flour though, and they still turned out kind of flat. But they did stay soft for me and were a pretty popular cookie! Thanks!

Pistachio Cream Cheese Fingers

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2002
I made these as a drop cookie and it turned out WONDERFUL, very light and fluffy cookie with a nice green tint to it. I used chocolate on about half of it but it's very good even without the chocolate drizzle. This will definitely be a holiday staple in my cookie tins!

Holiday Peppermint Bark

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2002
VERY easy and VERY yummy! I added a few drops of green food coloring to give it a holiday twist. Just be sure to quickly spread it out onto wax paper - mine started to harden up pretty quickly.

Trim the Tree Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2002
GREAT tasting cookie; I didn't need to alter the recipe at all and it turned out wonderful. I used these with regular vanilla frosting bought from the store and they turned out wonderful! Will definitely make it again!
