Dark Chocolate Cake II

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2012
This recipe is excellent! I made it in 2 round cake pans to make a double layer birthday cake for my mother in law and she has been raving about it! I added a can of cherry pie filing (tho I rinsed some of the syrup away so it wouldn't take away from the flavor of the cake itself) for a twist. Yummy! This is officially me new favorite recipe! Easy enough that my 4 year old enjoyed helping make it, super moist, full of flavor. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

Mini Cheesecakes

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2011
I used this recipe for Thanksgiving and everyone loved them. I doubled the recipe and still there were no leftovers! I left 1/3 plain, 1/3 topped with raspberries, and I mixed chocolate chips in 1/3. I'm making them again for Christmas (per request!) This time I might top a few with cherries. My 3 year old daughter loves to help. She lines all the cups with the Nilla Wafers (making sure to eat all the broken ones lol) and she helps measure and mix.

Cindy's Pumpkin Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2011
I used this recipe last year and it was excellent! My only complaint was the lack of cloves. The good thing? People that don't usually like pumpkin pie liked it without the clove. But was a little mild for those that like it more spicy. This year I am going to try adding 1/4 tsp of clove to this recipe and see how it turns out. Otherwise, I absolutely loved this one. The melted vanilla ice cream adds a unique AND AWESOME taste and texture. I can't wait to try it with a little more zip with the cloves :)

Eggless Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2011
Turned out great! I substituted milk for buttermilk (i think they would have been better with buttermilk actually) I also used about 1 1/2 cups of peanut butter, and added semi sweet chocolate chips to half of the batch. Both with and without chocolate turned out really good. This with be a recipe my daughter and I use again and again!

Flourless Chocolate Cake I

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2011
Recently I cut sugary foods from my 3 1/2 year old's diet (not that she had much to begin with) although the difference has been minimal over the last 2 months. I started doing some research and I have a feeling it's not so much the sugar that is an issue, but the glutton. This recipe sounds so delicious, the whole family would love it, and my hubby won't even know it's glutton free. I can't wait to make this later and test it out. Love baking with my daughter, but feel so guilty that she hasn't been able to reap the rewards of het own projects. Thank you for sharing! Can't wait to try and report back!
