Mouse's Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2013
I have a VERY picky family. This is the first time anything other than boxed mac and cheese was considered good. I went ahead and used 2 cups of uncooked mac, but I wouldn't use more than that. The mustard and the pepper give this that something special that is unique. It really was delicious. Thanks so much for sharing!

My Country Style Steak

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2010
Made this as written for my family last night and got rave reviews. This is very close to my mom's old recipe only easier. It is a quick prep. I did use 2 lbs of meat, so I did have to add another TBS of oil. Will be making this again. Thanks so much for sharing.

Caramelized Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2008
I made this recipe using boneless/skinless chicken breasts. I made the sauce as written, but heated it on the stove with a TBS of cornstarch mixed in for thickening. I browned my chicken breasts first and cooked them at 350 in the oven for 40 minutes, turning once. Everyone liked the sauce on the chicken, but I think next time I will cover the chicken and perhaps reduce cooking time to 30 minutes. The chicken was a bit dry, but dipping it in the sauce took care of that. Overall, this is a great recipe, easy to assemble ingredients, quick prep, and makes a great dinner. Thanks for sharing!

Have made this twice and it has knocked everyone's socks off both times. Several people have told me these are the best beans they have ever had. Fantastic recipe fixed as is. Thanks!

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2007
Perhaps I made a mistake, but I found this to be too rich. I guess it was the mayo/cheese combination. It certainly wasn't awful, but I don't plan to have this again.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2007
This was fabulous! I followed the recipe exactly but took some small shortcuts. I bought prepackaged ham bites in the pork section of the butcher case. This cut down on chopping time. Also, I bought the prepackaged hashbrowns in the butcher case. They had potatoes and onions already chopped, so I only added a small amount of my own potato and onion and I was on my way. One thing you might want to consider is the amount of salt in your ham. If you have a saltier ham, you may need to decrease the salt that you add. Excellent recipe and a definite keeper! Thanks!
