Cheesy Sausage Zucchini Casserole
My family usually doesn't like my recipes from the internet, but this one was a huge hit !!! I used fresh mushrooms instead of canned, added fresh green pepper and garlic to the zucchini, and added shredded cheddar to the velveeta. The only other thing that I did different was use 1 cup of whole grain rice. It is a recipe that we will be making for years to come.

Mom's Shrimp Macaroni Salad
I was looking for a different type of macaroni salad for a party and decided to try this. I made a trial batch last night and it turned out terrific. If you leave out the hot pepper sauce, what you have is a type of Russian dressing. I agree with the addition of pickle juice since that was my mom's "secret ingredient" to her potato salad that everyone always loved. I will definitely make this again.

Sweet Restaurant Slaw
I don't eat cole slaw, but my husband and mother does, and they said that this was as close as you can get to what you can order from any restaurant. I have made it twice within a week. The first time, I made it with everything but the poppy seeds because I didn't have any. The second time I made it, I included the poppy seeds, used finely diced celery in place of onions, and added 2 tsp of half and half, since my husband likes it more wet. He said that it was exactly like he remembered the way his grandfather made it who was a cook in the navy. Thank you for a recipe that I will be making for years to come.
