Heavenly Halibut

I made it exactly according to the recipe. It was fantastic. Best fish recipe I've ever made. My husband, who isn't a big fan of fish, loved it too. This one is a keeper.

King Ranch Chicken Casserole

This was sensational! I substituted crushed tortilla chips for the corn tortillas, but other than that, it was perfect as is. To trolls karenmulhern and Doug B - take your vacuous comments elsewhere. You can't rate a recipe you haven't even tried.

Spicy Garlic Lime Chicken

It was good, but like most, I modified it a little. I added about 3/4 C. of chicken broth and mixed it with a little corn starch. That made for more sauce for the rice and it thickened it so that it had more body and stuck to the rice.

Sweet Potato Pecan Pie by EAGLE BRAND®

This is a terrific recipe with some of the small changes mentioned in other reviews. I left out the orange rind and used a 9" pastry pie shell. Also, the first time I made it there was too much liquid from the pecan topping which dripped over the sides. This time I used a slotted spoon and eliminated some of the excess pecan syrup. Perfect!

Spinach Rice

This is a keeper! Just delicious. Only changes I made were using 1 jalapeno pepper instead of 2 and substituting shredded cheddar for the processed cheese. Tastes vary, but we found that 1 jalapeno pepper gave it plenty enough of a kick.

Easy Chicken Casserole

Excellent! I got some good tips from other people's reviews. I added milk to the soup mixture to make it a little more liquidy. Also added a little garlic powder. I served it over orzo which was a great idea suggested by another reviewer.

Creamy Au Gratin Potatoes

This is so good! The dairy ingredients turn it into something very creamy and custard-like, but I think the onions are what put it into the 5 star category. The onions baked this way are so delicious, I think I'd like to try making it with fewer potatoes and more onions.

Easy Chicken Tetrazzini

We thought this was very good, but like most other reviewers, I doctored it up with onions, mushrooms, celery, and garlic which I saut├ęd beforehand. Maybe a little extra liquid would be a good idea if you're making enough for leftovers another night.

Cheesy Chicken Asparagus Casserole

It was good, but bland. The ingredient list doesn't call for any seasonings at all, so you know up front you need to add stuff. I used mushrooms, garlic, onions, a little red bell pepper, salt and pepper. It still wasn't enough. If I make it again, I'll know to include even more of these ingredients. Also, after breaking off the hard bottoms of the asparagus, there really wasn't enough of it left. I will use 2 lbs next time.
