Flank Steak with Horseradish Sauce

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2009
I purchased a flank steak from an actual meat market (rather than the grocery store); I also marinated this for over 24 hours. While the flavor was good, it wasn't as good as I was hoping given flavorful ingredients. I would increase the garlic and lemon juice next time. The Horseradish sauch was excellent and would use this for other cuts of meat as well.

Blueberry Coffee Cake III

Very Good recipe! Easy to make and turns out wonderfully! I used frozen blueberrys that I purchased earlier this summer - still turned out great. Don't be tempted to add more blueberry's than what the recipe calls for, though....the recipe provides just the right ratio. This is a great ending to a nice brunch meal!

Best Ever Blueberry Cobbler

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2009
I made this in a round pan vs a square pan (I didn't have a square pan avail...) and enjoyed serving it in pie wedges with vanilla ice cream. I was surprised at how well it all stayed together and the flavor was wonderful - not too blueberry, not tart, but just enough flavor to nicely go with the ice cream. I would definately make this one again!

Slow Cooker Barbecue Ribs

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2009
I made this recipe for 18 people and it turned out flawlessly. It was a bit messy browning all that meat in the oven...but cleaning up the pans long before the meal really minimized the clean up after the meal....just the slow cookers, in fact. Once the meat is in the slow cooker, the fabulous aroma fills your house for 6-8 hours - your guests will love this. The meat falls right off the bone!

French Toast Casserole

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2009
This is an excellent dish! The taste is wonderful and it's easy, really easy to make. Definately double the ingredients and put into a 9X13 pan as others have suggested. Let your guests put the syrup on...as it really doesn't need any syrup at all given the flavor is so good! Pair with sausages and fruit and you have a great brunch!
