Best Blueberry Buckle

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2012
I absolutely love this recipe! The only thing is there were more blueberries than flour??? I doubled the recipe and only used 3 cups of flour but people loved it just as much without all the blueberries. Thanks for posting!

Fast Chicken Divan

Reviewed: Jun. 5, 2012
Omgosh, 6 stars! this is so easy, healthy, and most importantly delicious! i doubled the recipe and it came out great! Just a tip: if you are using chopped broccoli make sure to mix the sauce into the casserole. All my broccoli on the bottom had no sauce, but if you ate it altogether it tasted great. if that makes any sense...

Irish Potato Candy

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2012
These are great! I make these every year and decided to try a new recipe! My "dough" came out thick so i didn't need to refrigerate before rolling in the cinnamon. I also have a question, if i keep them out of the fridge will they go bad? Because i like mine soft where as when you put them in the fridge they get all hard unless you let them sit out.

Irish Soda Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2012
Wow this is delicious! I just made it today for St. Patrick's day! It makes a lot, the dough about doubles in size so don't worry about doubling unless you're having a big party. It is very dense as well. I would recommend adding about 2 cups of raisins instead of 3. I used about 1 & 3/4 cups and it came out perfect. I was skimming over the pictures first, and some looked over powered by raisins! Well enjoy! I would also recommend the Irish potato candy recipe from this site, i made them as well!

What ever you do, don't forget the chocolate chips!!!!!! Add extra if you can, you'll be amazed!

Chocolate Eclair Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2012
Oh my gosh, this cake is out of this world crazy awesome! Its better than a regular eclair! And so unique and easy! Literally it took me 15 min to make, including the frosting! I am not sure why the "READY IN" time says 2 hours and 25 min! I would say at most 20 min. I would recommend this dessert to anyone who needs a easy dessert that will wow their guests! Just a tip, make sure you only use two 3 ounce packages of cream cheese, most pudding packets have 2.3 ounces, that throws off the recipe completely. Enjoy!

Chocolate Eclair Dessert

If i were you, i wouldn't make this recipe, i would make the Chocolate Eclair Cake, much tastier with the homemade frosting and looks nicer too.

Apricot and Peach Fried Pies

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2011
i tried these with apples, and they fell apart while frying. i always get these great ideas to make doughnuts or fried pies, and i always regret it because of the mess and all the greasy food. If i were you, i would rather go to the store and buy those microwaveable mini apple pies with the glaze. They are tasty, quick, and no mess! Trust me, i would choose home-made over store bought any day so this recipe has to be disappointing for me to go to store bought!

Grandmother's Buttermilk Cornbread

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2011
This cornbread was good, the best so far. I added a small can of creamed corn to recipe for more texture, moistness, and flavor. It wasn't dry around the edges but great in the middle! The leftovers got really hard in the fridge. I like to put honey/ butter on my bread so in all it was pretty good. If anyone had the BEST cornbread recipe EVER i would love to have one that is moist and flavorful! Thanks for posting!

Oatmeal Raisin Cookies I

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2011
These are the best oatmeal raisin cookies I've ever had! They are soft and moist when they come out of the oven and when they cool they are chewy and delicious! I will definitely make these again! Oh and BTW these work great with whole wheat flour... a healthier choice! Thanks for submitting.

Original Nestle® Toll House® Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2011
This was the first time i made this recipe, personally all chocolate chip cookies taste the same to me so these were great. However, i used whole wheat flour which usually makes things more dry so to help that i added an extra 1/4 stick of butter. they came out way too flat and they kept burning for the first couple cookies sheets, but as i let the dough sit longer it like hardened up or something and they came out fine. I think the temp. is a little high so maybe bump it down to 350 if your having the same problem.
