Easy Pancakes

This pancake recipe is the best I have ever made. My husband raved over them. So easy, so flavourful and so perfect. My only addition was that I added a teaspoon of pure vanilla, otherwise nothing else changed. Thank you so much!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups

Truly outstanding. I made them in a 8x8 pan as a reviewer had suggested. Very easy. Then cut them them up in small pieces and put them in muffin liner cups. So decadent as the recipe states! Thank you!

Pizza Crust for the Bread Machine II

Wow, is all I have to say! First time I made this pizza dough in my bread machine and it was a major success! I used Splenda instead of sugar and this was my only substitution. I followed exactly. I put a little olive oil and cornmeal in the pizza pan too, before adding dough. It was definitely a deep dish crust and so next time, I may try to split the dough to make 2 thinner crust pizza. Awesome!!!

Easy Pear Crisp

Absolutely delicious!! My husband loves this more than the traditional oats topping...and have to admit so do I. I used real sugar this time, but will try it with splenda next time or just less sugar. Just a little too sweet for my tastebuds, but otherwise out of this world. I used about 6 pears from my father's pear tree...scrumptious! Served with ice cream.

Turkey Pot Pie II

Divine! My modifications: did not add onions, and used turkey gravy instead of soup, because we were out of soup. Used premade pie shells as well, for quicker prep time. Awesome and pure comfort food at its best! Thank you Diane.

Never Bitter Lemonade

I made it with Splenda, instead of sugar and it was good. Next time, more lemon juice to make it more tart, than sweet. My preference.

Apple Delight

Brought this to a party and received rave reviews. Several people had seconds. I made this into a trifle, here are my modifications: - used cherry pie filling and chocolate cake. Mixed butter in with the choc cake as per reviewers suggestions. - when all cooked and cooled, mixed it all up. - Put one layer of cake on bottom and whipped cream on top. Did this 3 times to make a nice Black Forest Cherry Trifle in a glass bowl. Thank you for recipe!

Mary's Roasted Red Pepper Dip

This was the hit of a party I went to yesterday. Here are my modifications: - used Roasted Red Pepper spread in a jar - used only 1/2 cup mayonnaise - used mozzarella/cheddar blend - served with sliced cucumbers as well as thin crackers - no mustard used. Thanks...a beautiful and delicous appetizer/dip!!!!

Sweet and Sour Meatballs

Antipasto Squares

These squares were excellent 10/10. Even though they were good at room tempature, they were outrageously delicious warm, straight from the oven. I also used Roasted Red Pepper Spead instead of just Roasted Red Peppers. Thank you!

Best Ever Banana Bread

The title says it all. It truly is the best banana bread I've ever made. The only changes I made is I cut back on the sugar (next time I will use Splenda substitute) and walnuts instead of pecans. WOW!

Tortilla Rollups II

I have made this kind of recipe dozens of times but unlike others, I don't like to put the salsa inside the tortilla. I use it as a dipping sauce for the tortillas. My other variation is making it with cream cheese and black forest ham as a variation of the regular tea sandwiches. Always, always a hit for presentation, ease of prep work and delicious every time!

Cake Mix Cookies IV

Out of this world, outstanding! I followed the instructions exactly and added 1 cup of milk choc chips. Wow...is all I have to say. Can someone remind me why I bother making my cookies from scratch when this recipe is easier and just as great!!!!!!!!!

Tortilla Rollups III

I have made this recipe a dozen times myself with a few changes and tips to offer you: Instead of the chilies, I have used black olives or cold cuts or green peppers. I also add a little ranch dressing to the mix for added flavour. I make sure to wrap them in plastic wrap and chill them before slicing, they stay in shape longer this way. They are a hit every time and look so great.

Shrimp Enchiladas

This dish is delicious. However, I made some minor changes. I used homemade tomato sauce instead of regular salsa, cooked shrimp ahead of time, used herb and garlic tortillas. Added some cheese to top of tortillas. Absolutely divine! Thank you!

Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies

I have made this recipe for years. I believe, although not 100% sure that the original recipe comes from Kraft. However, I use less sugar (1/3 cup - 1/2 cup or sometimes use 1/2 cup Splenda) and add about 1/2 cup choc chip cookies. These are the best!

Orange Almond Biscotti II

This was a good recipe but certainly not the best for me. I had to add extra veg oil to keep the dough from separating. I sub splenda for sugar and sub pecans for the almonds.
