Creole Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2004
Let a previous reviwer I would have liked to give this a higher rating. I concur the amount of time, preparation, steps and pans used were ridiculous. Forget the salt altogether and let the andouille provide the flavor. I will, however, keep working with this recipe. It has potential.

Cinnamon Pork Loin and Potatoes

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2004
I must have tried a different recipe than some of you did:) My husband and I loved this! True the gravy was too salty and it also could have used more apples. But the roast was as tender as could be. Definitely a keeper!

Gel's Green Beans and Beef

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2003
This was great. I enjoyed the oriental flavor and plan to add some toasted sesame seeds next time. I added more ground beef and used fresh green beans but my husband came home an hour late. Needless to say the beans looked like overcooked can beans. I'm sure this will be even better when served on time. I added a little water too. What is there to thicken? I've already had requests for this recipe.

Kielbasa and Potato Bake

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2003
Casserole - my kids shuddered at the thought. That is until they tasted it. WOW! What a dish! This recipe is now a family favorite. Just don't use the word casserole.

Blueberry Streusel Muffins

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2002
These weren't very sweet and the streusel topping didn't work so hot either. They were edible, but I'll not be using this recipe again.

French Breakfast Muffins

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2002
These are fantastic! Easy to prepare also. Even family members that don't care for muffins were going back for 2nds. Way too much butter used for topping. Next time I'll melt much less and put it on with a pastry brush. It will be easier to control how much butter is put on rather than just dunking the muffin in the butter. But still, all in all, wonderful. This will certainly show up on my table over and over again.
