Bourbon Pecan Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2006
Made this for dinner and this was definetly a 5 star dish. Can't wait to make it for dinner guests, but will make additional sauce as it is soooo delicious. I did coat chicken and then dipped again in beaten egg and into coating again.

I served this to our guests and we all agreed the peaches are yummy. I used 1/2 cup bourbon as had been suggested by another reviewer...may try the whiskey next time.

Baked Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2005
First got the recipe from a friend who found in on this site. It was really delicious. I then made it for my dinner guests, who also thought it was a tasty dish. I did use two cans of mushroom soup in order to have some gravy for the masked potatoes.

Pumpkin Spice Cake II

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2005
Made this for a potluck and it turned out yummy. I used Splenda for baking and half applesauce and half oil. Soaked raisins in orange juice and only put the nuts on top of cream cheese frosting. Will definetly put in my "keeper" file.

Beef and Wine Soup with Dumplings

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2005
I thought the soup was a little bland. Added some pepper flakes and it gave it just enough "kick." Also, browned the beef and then put everything in the crock pot on high for 4 hours. Didn't make the dumplins..too many calories. Will keep in recipe file.

California Cole Slaw

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2004
I made this 3 days ahead of time as suggested. When we tasted the salad it was awful! Had very little taste...except was oily even tho I reduced the amount of oil as had been suggested. I was going to throw it out and then decided to add some mayonnaise. This helped, but was still embarassed to serve to our guests.
