Mrs. Sigg's Snickerdoodles

These are really good cookies. The dough is great to work with. Just be sure to refrigerate it, and it won't get sticky on you. I placed the dough back in the fridge after each sheet was placed in the oven to keep it cool. I baked these at 375 degrees for 8 minutes like a lot of other reviewers did and that was the perfect temperature and time.

Absolutely Fabulous Greek/House Dressing

Black and White Cookies I

I think I did something wrong with these cookies. They were very dense and dry. They tasted good but were too "floury". I think I will weigh my flour next time instead of measuring it in a dry measuring cup. Since this got so many 5 star reviews I will try it again. I am only giving it three stars now because of the way they turned out for me. I will rate them again and hopefully they turn out better after some adjustments. P.S. - If someone makes these and they really love them please let us know if the dough is sticky when you drop them on the baking sheet. Also is it better to refrigerate the dough awhile before baking? Thanks!

Vegan Split Pea Soup I

I love this recipe. It is so easy to make and especially convenient when you don't have a ham bone or any other type of meat to use. I suggest shaking some Frank's Red Hot sauce or Tabasco on top when served (just to add to the already great taste, not to alter!).

Sweet Potato Salad

This was very good. I used new baby red potatoes and just left them whole. I also added some cayenne pepper because I like things spicy. I also only had light mayonnaise but it still tasted great. I served this to my fiance and two of our friends. My fiance doesn't really like sweet potatoes but he ate all of his. Everyone really enjoyed it.

Turtle Cheesecake

This was a delicious cheesecake. I wanted to make my own birthday cake so I chose this one because of all of the nice reviews. You were all right! I altered the crust by using half oreos and half chocolate cookies with chocolate cream filling (from the bulk section). I only used about 3 Tablespoons of butter instead of 6 in the crust and I toasted extra pecans and added those to the crust. The cake was so creamy and good, thanks for sharing your recipe.
