Grandma Johnson's Scones

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2012
This has got to be the easiest recipe I've tried in awhile. I used blueberries in place of the raisins (not a big raisin fan). They turned out amazing, my fiance then asked me to make cinnamon scones, I used this same recipe and added cinnamon in the batter, and topped with cinnamon sugar. These have become a household favorite for myself, my fiance, and a picky 13 year old. Thanks so much for sharing...

Grandma Ople's Apple Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2013
I have made this pie twice now, after the first was I was asked to make one for a co-workers birthday pie. I took some others advice and added just a tsp of cinnamon to the apples in a bowl and stirred it around I also added just a sprinkle of allspice to the apples and stirred. I took the advice and had the pie prepped though and ready before I started the sugar mixture on the stove. That way once that was ready I could just pour over the pie and put in the over quickly, once that starts cooling down it will not pour easily and your will have a mess on your hands. Get your apples peeled and cut and in the crust with the lattice top ready before you work the sugar mixture (best advice I read). This turned out absolutely gorgeous and tasty. I will be making this recipe for years to come. THANKS for a great recipe....

Death By Garlic

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2013
I found this recipe last week and as a quick meal for work the next day I had all ingredients so I put this together. Wow, this was amazing. I even shared with a coworker who agreed this was great. I followed some other review and used 11 cloves of garlic, and 2/3 cup cheese. I added garlic peppered smoked sausage to this. This was amazing and easy, will be making this again. Thanks for a great recipe.

Harvey Ham Sandwiches

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2012
I made this so I could have a lazy day at home with my family. We followed directions to a tee and it was GREAT! My husband now brags to his friends about this ham. He will eat it on buns with an onions slice, I like mine with dill pickles. This has instantly become a household favorite. Thanks for the recipe.
