Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2011
Good stuff.. definitely use a deep dish pie crust and more sauce. I doubled the sauce and it came out perfect!

Easy Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2011
Super easy to make. I added red food coloring to make them pretty and sprinkled sugar on top. Easy and fast. Doesn't take tons of ingredients and went super fast.

Rich and Creamy Tomato Basil Soup

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2011
Waaay to rich as the recipe is. You must modify to make it better. Do as others say, cut the cream in half, add more basil, be careful with your salt and make sure that you have in-season ripened tomatoes to make this good.

Black Beans and Rice

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2011
That is all this recipe is. Black beans and rice. You really need to doctor this up to make it flavorful. Good as a side dish for tacos or even to put this on tortilla chips and top with cheese.

Pasta Primavera

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2011
Great recipe.. however you definitely need to double the sauce amount if you plan on having a "saucy" noodle and not just a dab of sauce. My picky husband loved it.

Six Can Chicken Tortilla Soup

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2011
This is a bland recipe. However if you have absolutely no cooking skill this is perfect for you. All you have to do is open some cans and put it in your crockpot. I agree with the other reviewers that this must be doctored up to be a good recipe.

Chocolate Eclair Dessert

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2011
Taste just like an eclair. Needs more pudding mix if you are going to keep this a 9 x 13 size pan. Setting the completed mix in the freezer for a few minutes to harden it might make it more serve-able and easier to present on a plate. There is nothing fancy to this recipe, however it is tasty. Plain but gets the job done. ***2nd day review*** My initial tasting of this dish was very blah. However, after it sat and absorbed the flavors in the fridge over night it was WAY better. It set up firm and was easier to slice (like a cake). Superb! My husband can't get enough of it.
