Wild Rice and Asparagus Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2013
Ok, so maybe I tweaked this so much it needs to go in another recipe but I have to give credit to VISTACO for the inspiration. I used rotisserie chicken (approx 2 cups). Steamed the asparagus before adding. Didn't use peanut oil since son is allergic to peanuts. Added 1/2 t sesame oil, 1 t ginger and 1 t minced garlic. Stir fried until heated through and the flavors blended. Served over wild rice. Loved it!

Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2011
This was good and hubby thought I bought the alfredo sauce, so kudos to Emily! I, of course, having the ghetto kitchen that I do, had to make substitutions since I didn't have all the incredients. First, since there are only 2 of us eating, I used only one BIG chicken breast, then thirded (is that a word?) the remaining ingredients. I didn't have half-n-half so I used Lite Ranch Dressing and nix'd the sour cream. Had to use 2 cheese sticks, too, instead of the CMJ cheese (it was a white/yellow mix so I think I was close). I did make the recipe as instructed and, like I said, it came out all right. Thanks for sharing :-)

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2008
Used 1.75 C water with .75 pkt of Lipton Onion Soup mix and 1 beef boullion cube as sub for soup, water and beer. No beer. Cut the recipe to 5 servings and used like a london broil cut called top sirloin??
