About Me
I am a cook that tries to make it if I find a recipe that I like. I love to bake! I have been married for 9 years and have 3 kids, 16,6 and 6 months, I know what was I thinking :-) But my hubby and kids are my life. Sometimes they turn there nose up at what I cook but always try it :-) I also love scrapbooking, baseball (GO DODGERS), and looking through cookbooks!
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake, I am half mexican so love my mexican food, especially making homemade tortillas that my Nona taught me to make when I was 10. My husband and 6 year old are chocolate aholics and so I am always looking for a recipe for soft chocolate chip cookies............he does like all that I try!

My cooking triumphs
One time we were living in Washington State and lived in Oak Harbor, which is an island and deception pass is the only thing that connects to the main land. Well there were no jobs on the island and I was afraid to drive myself off the island to work so I stayed home and all I did was cook/bake! Well my mom had gotten me this cookbook and I wanted to make the bread, honey wheat bread. Followed directions exactly and low and behold my bread looked exactly like the photo in the cookbook! I was so excited that I danced around the house for days! Silly but still makes me smile!
My cooking tragedies
Who knows some dessert or casserole that I had to throw out because it was horrible!
