Fabulous Fried Cabbage

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2008
This is so good and doesn't get any easier. I have made it many times and enjoy it shredded too. Easier to pile when using it for a bed under brauts, fish, chicken or whatever. Very yummy!

Vanilla Glaze

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2008
A total MUST to increase milk to tablespoons from teaspoons otherwise, I wouldn't change a thing. This one ROCKED! It turned out perfect, was soooo simple and fool proof. Works great to spread, pipe or pour. I made this one 7 seperate times before writing review and all were perfect. The taste was right on, it poured over my bundt cakes beautifully and hardened enough to cover within 20 minutes.(cool your cake completely beforehand). The other batches were made for decorating cookies and they too were perfect each time. One batch is more than enough to lightly spread and generously pipe 2 dozen average sized cookies.

Macadamia Nut Crusted Mahi Mahi

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2008
This one has lived up to the reviews. Well worth making. I made pretty much as is with exceptions to the papaya(don't care for) and used red onion because I forgot the shallots. No need to strain the sauce, it just adds an extra step and it is fabulous with fruit pieces in it. Scooped a bit of the sauce on the side before adding the peppers at the end(used jalepenos) so the kids didn't have the heat. I too added about a tablespoon of corn starch to thicken the sauce. This one is definate keeper. Who needs the high priced dinner bill of eating out with this recipe in your book? Great way for the kids to like fish when paired with the sweet sauce!

Best Ever Chocolate Chip Cookies III

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2008
Very easy recipe. Not very sweet. Looking for a not so sweet cookie, this is for you. I would use milk chocolate chips though; gives a bit of a smoother flavor. It all depends on personal taste which is why this wasn't my cup of tea. For the most part it was a pretty soft/good cookie.

Hawaiian Bread I

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2003
I decreased the amount of cocunut extract to 1/4 teaspoon and added 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla. It was a huge hit this way. The full teaspoon of cocunut was a bit over powering in the original recipe for me. It is a great bread though!

Butter Snow Flakes

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2002
This recipe was so easy and the cookies turned out great. This is a wonderful pick for a cookie exchange or a filler among a plate of other goodies. I added a bit more orange zest and also squeezed about a 1/4 teaspoon of the orange juice. It turned out so yummy!!!!!!
