Fruitcake

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2012
I made this last year for the first time and everyone loved it! I am making two fruitcakes this weekend for this holiday season. My cake also baked my cake for nearly 3 hours. I made some slight adjustments - I'm not a huge fan of raisins so for the 1 1/2 cups of raisins, I used a mixture of raisins, dried cherries, dried blueberries and dried cranberries. For the nuts, I only used pecans. Looking forward to making it and gifting it this holiday season season!

Holiday Chicken Salad

It was excellent.. I stuffed the holiday chicken salad into homemade puffs and people loved them! I went with only 1/2 cup of pecans though.

Spinach Brownies

These are usually quite popular when I make them but I add additional onion and try some additional seasoning. I find the original recipe to be a bit bland.

Very easy and tasty. Though sometimes a bit sticky to touch which can be challenging.

Chocolate Rum Balls I

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2005
Very popular at my annual holiday party.. The recipe recommends that they are best after keeping them in a sealed container. I would agree - while you can serve them the same day - they tend to be best after a week.
