Sausage Potato Bake

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2013
okay, I admit this didn't sound very good to me, but it had so many good reviews, and I had all the ingredients, so I decided to give it a shot. I did make some changes, but not a lot. I used about half the potatoes and sausage because I didn't want to make too much if no one liked it. I also used the whole amount of the soups to make it more saucy. I added a huge heaping tablespoon of chopped garlic, and then, in the last 20 minutes in the oven, I covered it with a good light amount of shredded mozzarella and an even heavier amount of shredded sharp cheddar. The end result was a delicious dish that had a very cheesy gravy. Very rich and sooo amazing!!! This will be in our regular schedule from now on for sure!!

Steak Sauce

Reviewed: May 15, 2012
I just whipped this up as we just bought steaks and forgot to snag much needed steak sauce. I LOVE it. My husband, however, hates it, thinks it's too ketchupy. Maybe if I had some ketchup that wasn't heinz he may have liked it, so I will try that next time. Have yet to test it out on the kids. Oh yeah, and due to lack of stuff I had to change a couple of ingredients--I didn't have Apple Cider Vinegar, so I used Balsamic Vinegar. I also didn't have enough yellow mustard, so I used Spicy Brown Mustard which added another additional nice kick.

very good, but when I let it cool, it still didn't hold together...despite being messy it was delicious! :)

Focaccia Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2012
i followed the dough recipe almost exactly, including NOT curing the yeast. it turned out REALLY good and i had no problem with it rising! i didn't have mozzarella or Parmesan --i topped with red onion, olive oil, more garlic powder, fresh tomato and cheddar cheese. Next time, I'm definitely going to add more salt, and LOTS more garlic. i think Parmesan will be a lot better than cheddar too! My husband really liked this (and he's VERY picky). I can't wait to make it again, except of course make it even tastier! :)
