Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2005
Awesome! I was reluctant to leave the crockpot all day without much (or any) liquid in it, but this turned out excellent. I put 3 large frozen boneless breasts, 1/8C of cooking wine, 1 whole packet of italian seasoning and 1 can cream of mush soup in and left it all day. I added 6 oz of cream cheese and dollop of sour cream, and some fresh mushrooms twenty minutes before we ate it. Served over rice. My whole family LOVED it....even the picky 5 yr old!.

Skillet Meatloaf

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2005
I made this last night for dinner and it was VERYgood & so easy to make. It is not often that I make a meal that both of my two kids and my husband thinks is great! The only thing that I changed was that I only had provolone cheese so I used that instead of mozzerella. My husband suggested that next time we add some green peppers. We will definatley make this again.

Garlic Pasta

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2005
This pasta was really good and easy. It was a bit too spicy for my kids though, so next time I may cut back on the red pepper just a bit. I found that I didnt need the whole 1/4 cup of Italian Seasoning - half of that was enough. I only used about 1/4 cup of olive oil. Definatley important to use fresh grated parmesan (not the powdery kind in the can).

Spicy Italian Pork Cutlets

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2005
I made this last night for dinner and both my husband and I loved it, but it was a bit too spicy for my kids. This was fairly easy to make and used ingrediants that I typically have on hand. The meat was tender and so full of flavor. We will definatley make this again.

Baked Ziti I

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2004
Three words describe this ziti - "YUM, YUM, YUM"! This recipe is great. I used ground pork instead of ground beef, and next time I will probably add some chopped garlic with the meat & chopped onion. The sour cream gives it a delicious, creamy texture. This was just as good leftover, for lunch, the next day.

Whit's Chicken Enchiladas

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2004
I made the recipe last night and it was very good. I used boneless chicken breasts and cooked them with a little olive oil (rather than boiling). I used 1 can of enchilada sauce instead of using the heavy cream. My husband and 10 yr old daughter loved them, but our 4 yr old found them too spicey. I will make these again.

Spanish Rice Bake

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2004
My family loved this recipe. I made this the night before and baked it, to melt the cheese right before we ate it. I added 1 can of Rotel tomatoes (instead of plain tomatoes). My daughters topped their serving with a spoonful of sour cream. YUMMY! There was very little left the next day for lunch. We will be making this again.

Garlic-Lemon Double Stuffed Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2004
This recipe is excellent! I made this last night and my kids loved it. Even my extremely picky 4 yr. old at just about every bite. I didn't have any minced garlic on hand, so I left that out. This recipe is a keeper!

Husband's Delight

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2002
This recipe was excellent. My husband and my kids loved it. I added 1 can of condensed cheddar cheese soup to the sour cream & cream cheese mixture, as well as 1 cup of milk. I used elbow noodles, and I used two cans of Rotel tomatoes for extra zip rather than plain tomatoes. I will definately make it again. Thanks!
