Salisbury Steak
I never liked the concept of salisbury steak. It grossed me out. This recipe changed my mind. I've now made it for my family of 4, and I've made it for a church dinner for 40 people. Super intense, addictive, crave inducing flavor. I think it's the worcestshire sauce that does the trick, plus the onion soup. At different cooking sessions I've subbed dried onion soup mix (reconstituted with water) when i didn't have canned french onion on hand, and i couldn't tell a difference in taste. I've also used the cream of mushroom substitution (instead of ketchup) for the gravy, and always doubled the gravy portions.. to.. well, get more gravy. We eat this until we want to burst, it's that yummy. Mashed potatoes and peas are my preferred sides. This is a keeper to impress anyone with 'home cooked gooodness'.

Dinah's Stuffed Mushrooms
Great recipe! These are tasty! Super rich. You eat one, and then you want to eat another, and then you think, 'oh, it's just mushrooms, and they're so yummy, i can eat 6 of them' - and then you're like 'oh my gosh, i just ate 6 of these and i'm going to die.' But at least you die happy.

Extreme Banana Nut Bread 'EBNB'
Great recipe! Easy, yummy, I was so impressed I made it twice in one week! (because I, and my family, ate all of it so fast!). Here's the kicker - I burnt the bottom! I only had to cook mine for 30 minutes - I used a glass 9x13 casserole dish - as I didn't have a loaf pan handy. This change in dish altered the cooking time. Even though the bottom of the bread was 'slightly blackened' - I just sliced it off and served the perfectly uber moist, delicious remainder of the bread. It was /so/ good, that we didn't mind eating around the over toasted part. It's a keeper! Even burnt! Hah!
