Fish Tacos

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2012
This recipe was great! I didn't have baking soda and I don't drink/use alcohol so I used water for the batter and the fish came out golden and crispy. I used Goya Adobo seasoning with pepper for the salt and flavor. I also made a tomato salsa to put on top. Will definitely make this again!

Simple Beef Flavored Gravy

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2011
This gravy turned out great! I used chicken boillon instead of beef as I didn't have the beef on hand. Next time I'll try it with the beef. I'm sure it would taste even better!

Chicken Tikka Masala

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2011
This is the second time I've made this dish and me and my husband love it! It's so delicious and taste straight out of an Indian restaurant! I also made some alterations and doubled the recipe. I don't have a grill so I combined all the seasonings at once including the yogurt and let it marinade for 45 min. I used 4 tsp. salt altogether instead of what the recipe required. I sauteed the peppers and garlic (used 3 cloves) and chicken until the chicken turned white then simmered it on med-low heat covered for 45 min. I also didn't have any heavy cream on hand so I used 1 cup of carnation milk and 2 (8 oz.) cans of tomato sauce which gave a good amount of sauce to throw over the rice. I paired it with some basmati rice and naan bread. Next time I will roast the chicken in the oven and let it marinade all day. Can't wait to make this dish again!!!

My Chili

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2011
I added 1 tbsp cumin, 1 tsp of cinnamon, and pepper to mine. Paired it with corn bread, freshly diced red onion and cheese and it was to die for. Will definately make again.
