Amish White Bread

Love this bread. It has replaced store-bought bread for us, we have made it every week for over a year. We use 2 cups whole wheat flour and 3 cups white bread flour. The recipe makes 2 loaves. If you only need one, go ahead and mix up the full recipe, then after the first rise, divide into two dough balls and freeze one. Just wrap tightly in plastic wrap and freeze. When ready to use let it thaw in the bread pan and it will rise once thawed. Tastes just as good as fresh loaf.

Chicken and Bok Choy Soup

We had some bok choy that needed to be eaten, so we gave this a try. It was amazing. Even my picky 16-month old loved it. Only downside is it's a lot of veggies to chop when you have a toddler hanging on your leg!
