Messing up two consecutive batches of homemade blueberry muffins because I wasn't paying attention.

Seattle Dutch Babies
I'm a Seattle girl, and this is basically the recipe I learned in high school (!) except I use 1/4 cup butter. Agree with the reviewers who stress that melting the butter in the pan in the oven is important to get the babies to puff up. I've made this as a savory dish, topped with cheese and green chile or salsa. But it's really best with fresh lemon lemon and powdered sugar. Definitely an easy Sunday brunch or quick weekday breakfast-for-dinner at our house.

Best Ever Banana Bread
I made this as directed, except I added a half cup of white chocolate chips and used a mini-loaf pan (made 8 small loaves). The white chocolate chips added some sweetness and seemed to melt out somewhat, so they were a bit too sweet. But even in the mini loaf pan, which sometimes seems to dry things out, these were very moist and delicious. My boyfriend just Hoovered two in quick order!

Jay's Signature Pizza Crust
Followed this recipe exactly, except brushing the edges of the crust with 1 T of the olive oil and sprinkling the crust with garlic powder. Then we topped it with a little sauce, a combination of jack and swiss cheese (we were out of mozzerella), kalamata olives, and carmelized onions. Makes a very good, pizzeria style crust. This recipe is the one I will use again!
