5 STARS BY FAR!! You have to kneed the dough for 10 min at least. I allowed the dough to rise for 2 hr. I used less flour as well, and added as needed. I will never buy the Pretzle Maker pretzles Ever Again! This recipe is a dead ringer. Even my super picky husband loved them. I could not stop raving about this recipe Thank you Jeannie for posting this. Now if I could only find the honey mustard dipping sauce from Pretzle Maker! hmmmmmmm

I have been in love with Pretzel Maker pretzels forever. I made this recipe today and it is a dead on match! I scaled down for 6 and used only 2 cups of flour instead of 2.5 cups, and kneeded the dough for 10 min and let it rise for 2 hours. Used 1 tsp of brown sugar and 1/2 cup of brown sugar. I also baked on a cookie sheet using pam. Baked at 400 for 7=8 min and it was perfect. I dipped them in melted butter and dipped in honey mustard sauce I got from Pretzle Maker! This was my first time baking and it was so simple. Homemade pretzels it is going forward. I will never purchase Mall Pretzels ever!
