Creamy Dill Cucumber Toasties

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2004
this is such a yummy treat! i used fresh a handful of fresh dill instead of the dried, and served it spread on ritz crackers and topped with a thin slice of english cucumber. the tray dissappeared before everything else at my new year's eve appetizer bash. thanks for the recipe. i will be making this quite often.

Easy Caramelized Onion Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2004
what a nice change from oven baked pork chops! i tood the advice from many of the reviewers and doubled the onion and used chicken broth instead of water. in addition i added some sliced red peppers for flavor and color. i also took the advice of taking the chops out of the pan after they have seared and returning them after the onions had carmelized. my husband and my father both loved this dish.

Light and Fluffy Spinach Quiche

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2004
this was also my first attempt at quiche. my husband and i are trying the low carb kick, so i too made it crustless. just well greased a 9 inch pie plate. since we are more worried about carbs than fat, i used real heavy cream and full fat mayo. the only other additions i made were to add a half a handful of fresh chopped dill, and a few pinches of nutmeg and fresh ground pepper. it was so delicious we could barely save 2 pieces to eat for breakfast this morning!

Sweet and Sour Sauce I

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2004
i took everyone's advice and used the measurements as guidelines. since my family is trying to watch its sodium intake, i actually used no soy sauce at all. instead of water or pineapple juice, i used the juice from a can of mandarin oranges. YUM! the sauce turned out great. we used it for dipping crab rangoons, and as a glaze on chicken. will definitely make it again. thanks for the recipe!

Praline Sweet Potatoes

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2002
Made this for Thanksgiving and it was the hit of the table. Everyone loved it. It was the easiest part of my preparing dinner for 18, and the one thing that impressed them all.
