Easy Slow Cooker Meatballs

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2009
VERY awesome! I followed the recpe almost exactly but made more (used 2lbs meat and extra everything else and did only 1 large and one regular size prego. I also added about 2 cups of water towards the end and threw in linguini noodles, put the cooker on high and let it all cook together for the last hour. Made it for 8 kids and 4 adults and even my no protein 19 month old loved it! This will be the only way i ever make spaghetti. Thanks for the recipe!!

Chex® Muddy Buddies®

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2008
I had this once years ago and LOVED it and was excited to find the recipe! Best advice from here - do it all in a bag. I could have saved a lot of dishes! I used about 1.5 the chocolate mixture and more powdered sugar. I doubled the recipe but 1 batch (off the cereal box - 9 cups) makes quite a bit! I have no doubt it will all disappear! It's awesome!!!!

Kissmas Almond Cookies

I LOVED these! They stayed firm yet soft and tasted wonderful. My husband enjoyed them as well, but could do w/o the nuts! I doubled the recipe and they still turned out perfect! This will be a new "Kissmas" cookie! It's great!

White Chili

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2003
I thought this was pretty good but my husband - he LOVED it! He could have ate it ALL in one sitting! 1 bowl was filling enough for me! Making it again for a friend tonight! My husband has told everyone about this, he just can't get enough of it! So it's already a request! I took the suggestion of adding the beans with the juice. This did not seem too watery at all - I thought the texture was perfect! I also used hot Salsa and shredded Cheddar cheese. Make this! It is SO easy and yummy! Everyone will enjoy it! UPDATE: 8/24/04 This has been a biweekly meal for the last 8 months so I just had to update. We also add chopped onion and don't add the water. We have also made it w/o cheese for my brother and he has requested it again. Because this is so easy to make, we give it out when friends or family are needing meals it's a good change from the typical casserole.

Tiny Tarts

Very yummy! I wouldn't fill the pastry cups completely, they tend to overflow. Also, my first couple batches I was short pecans and they really over flowed so, follow this recipe as exact as possible!

Whipped Shortbread Cookies

Not too bad, I also sprinkled with cinnamon sugar, but I think they could stand to be a tad sweeter, I will add more powdered sugar next time. Also, I only needed to cook them for 8 minutes. It may be because of my higher altitude in Colorado?

Better Than Sex Cake II

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2002
Great recipe! A huge hit with all that have tried it! I have made this forever, but the way I've always done it seems a bit easier. Also, I use German Chocolate cake. Basically I put little holes in the cake and pour the milk on it (straight from the can. Let it soak, pour the carmel on it (straight from the jar) and let it soak. Then I add the whipped cream and I buy toffee bits already chopped up (Skor). I serve it chilled, it seems to be better that way.

Pumpkin Cake III

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2002
AWESOME RECIPE!!! I made this at Thanksgiving and it was a HIT! It beat out Grandma's Pumpkin Pie and Cherry Pie by a longshot!!! I added 1/2 cup more pumpkin and it was VERY moist, but I'm sure it would have been just as moist w/o. I also just used store bought frosting, but still great!!!
