Tomato-Curry Lentil Stew

I too made some changes: added a bay leaf Used chicken broth(and used more liquids) halved the celery Added 1 carrot Added 2 small potatoes Added 1 yellow squash Added some cream before serving. I was surprised by how good this turned out - it exceeded my expectations

Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars II

Easy to make. I halved everything and stuck it in the freezer for half an hour to set. The peanute butter was still a bit too gooey.

Chocolate Cheesecake

i was afriad that this cheese cake would be too rich. Although it was certainly rich I did not find to overbearing - although it would be just fine without the glaze topping. I garnished mine with chocolate leaves and it made a very nice presentation.

Best of the Best Blueberry Muffins

Great taste and smelled wonderful while baking. I had a hard time getting the muffins out of the pan even though I had generously sprayed the pan with oil. They didn't puff up like I would have liked.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Self-Filled Cupcakes I

I will have to try this one again, and better blend the filling. My results seemed a bit "eggy". I also didn't add chocolate chips and used a yellow cake (so there could be my problem).

Hockey Pucks

I've been making these for years with wonderful results. My family has comapred them to the Girl Scout Cookie Tag-a-longs. Supper easy to make and are especially special to recieve. You can even make them look more festive looking by drizzling some white chocolate on top.

Brown Sugar Cookies II

Easy to make! Dough was yummy. I halved the recipie and shaped the cookies by hand (Since that is quicker with the amount of dough I had). I had trouble with the cookies expanding off of the cookie sheet..do leave lots of space for the cookies to expand. I wasn't too impressed with the finished product, I think it needs some work.

Favorite Hot Cocoa

I tried the "Microwave Single Serving" and was overally impressed with the results. I found that I needed a little more sugar than what was called for (I added some brown sugar). A keeper in my book.

Quick Fried Rice

I only made 1 cup of rice. I also cooked some meat and when it was done I cooked an egg in the same pan I had cooked the meat in, and added the rice, some frozen veggies and some soy sauce. Then I added the meat back in. It was a nice one-dish meal.

Homemade Crispy Seasoned French Fries

These taste wonderful, however, they are a bit messy to make and they need to be stuck into the deep fryer one at a time to avoid getting a giant clumb of frys. Even when putting them in one at a time they still stuck together some.

Breaded Chicken Fingers

I made these into chicken nuggets and we loved them. I didn't have any buttermilk, so I used milk. We are thinking about using a variety of spices to achieve different flavors in the future. Very easy and very rewarding.
