About this Cook
I've learned how to cook from my mom and grandma. I've been cooking since I was 8. Cooking and baking has been one of my best hobbies. I love cooking for parties, gatherings, and just for fun. Trying different recipes has always been fun and challenging. I'm happily married with a beautiful little girl, who love my cooking.
My favorite things to cook
Baking desserts; cakes, brownies, cookies..........Cooking: anything that sounds good.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My favorite family cooking tradition is during Christmas. Ever since my daughter was born, her first Christmas, my husband and I, made cookies for Santa with a glass of milk. Now, she is 9 and still believes in Santa, and still make cookies for him with a glass of milk the night of Christmas Eve. "Santa" likes chocolate chip and sugar cookies. Heehee!
My cooking tragedies
The first time I made brownies was for my family reunion. The day of the reunion, I was totally in a hurry. I made them in a snap, and didn't even know how they turned out until I uncovered them at the reunion. The best part of the brownie was in the middle in a 9x9 container. The outer part of the brownie was totally burnt. My husband took one of them and it was like holding a rock. I learned my lesson not to rush baking.

Ham and Beans
This was the ham and beans that I have been missing so much. My grandma and aunt both made it all the time when we came and visited, but now that they are gone, they took the recipe to their graves. This recipe almost tasted just like theirs. Awesome!!!
