Soft Sugar Cookies IV

I never like to do bad reviews, but this was not good. I followed the recipe exactly, and they turned out awful. They did not flatten out at all, and they tasted just like biscuits. I would definitely not recommend these, and I will continue to find a better recipe.

Fondue Bread

Absolutely wonderful! It was a huge hit at the holiday party I brought it to. However, I think 2 lbs. of cheese is WAY too much. I used one pound this time making it, but I think I could even go with 1/2-3/4 lb. next time. It was not too hard to make!

Garlic Asparagus with Lime

This was just ok in my opinion. I doubled the lime, and it still didn't taste very "limey". I will try another recipe for asparagus next time.

Boiled Peanuts

Just great! I love boiled peanuts, but living in So. California, I just can't get them here! I have tried to make them before on the stovetop, and they just never turned out right. I did them in the slow cooker this time. After about 12 hours, I let them cool. They were just perfect! If you have never tried boiled peanuts, go right now and make these!

Maple Cookies

WONDERFUL cookies!!! Yum, yum, yum! Just a hint of maple flavour...definitely not overpowering. The first batch I undercooked like I do with my chocolate chip cookies, but I didn't care for these chewy! The next batch we left in for almost 16 minutes...they were crispy and delicious! You have got to try this recipe!

Mandi's Cheesy Potato Soup

Absolutely wonderful!!! Yum, yum, yum! I had to find a good potato cheese soup recipe when I found out the restaurant I used to eat it at used chicken broth (I am a vegetarian.) This was simple to make, and so good! We used vegetable broth instead of water, and we used twice as much. I also added onion and garlic with the carrots and celery. I would highly recommend trying this...the perfect potato cheese soup!

Vegetarian Tortilla Soup

So easy, and yet sooooo tasty! Wow! This is one of those recipes you can just keep the ingredients on hand in case company unexpectedly drops by...delicious, impressive dinner in about an hour! I omitted the corn (don't like the texture) and added cayenne pepper (we like it spicy!). In fact, our company gobbled it up last night, and we wanted leftovers, so batch number 2 is on the stove now! This will be a regular in our kitchen!

Baked Asparagus with Balsamic Butter Sauce

Simply the best!!! I had my hesitations (balsalmic and soy? really?), but I love asparagus so much. I usually boil mine and cover with butter and lemon. Never again...I have found my asparagus recipe!!!! WOW WOW WOW. That's all I can say. The sauce also makes a great vegetarian gravy substitute for mashed potatoes!!!

Black Bean and Salsa Soup

Pizza Crust for Bread Machine

Fantastic!!! The semolina flour added just a bit of chewiness! It was great! I baked on 400 for about 25 minutes. I always prebake the crust for about 5 minutes before adding cheese and sauce. Definitely try this one!

Antipasto Pasta Salad

This recipe lived up to the hype! WOW! We made a few subtitutions/changes. First of all, my husband and I are vegetarian, so we omitted the meat, and instead added 1 can of garbonzo beans and 1 jar of chopped marinated artichoke hearts. We also followed the advice and used white balsalmic vinegar. We let the salad sit overnight with the dressing before serving! It is outstanding! I have been munching on the leftovers all day! You must make this recipe!

Gnocchi I

Perfect Gnocci! SO incredibly simple, yet so tasty! To respond to a few other reviewers, you of course need to put sauce or oil, or something on it. Otherwise it would be like eating spaghetti plain. I will definitely be making this a lot!

Homemade Tomato Sauce I

Absolutely amazing, and so simple to make. Like a few others on here, I pureed all of the tomatoes (I don't like chunky sauce.) I also omitted the burgandy wine, using wine and garlic seasoning instead. I will never use another tomatos sauce recipe again!

Toasted Garlic Bread

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

YUM!!! I was tired of using bisquick, so I wanted to find a good, easy pancake recipe without using buttermilk. This was definitely the one! I followed others advice and added a little vanilla in there, and it made it sweet and delicious! Definitely would recommend!

Party Punch I

My aunt made this for my bridal shower, and it was outstanding! It was gone by the time half the party was over. We used a regular ice ring instead of the ice cubes because of the number of people there. We would definitely make this again!

French Onion Soup V

Wonderful! I saw the raving reviews for this recipe, and I had to try it! It was so easy, and so delicious! My husband, who doesn't like onions, even liked it! I didn't dilute the broth as much as the recipe calls for, but I don't think it would have been any less good the original way. I also sprinkled a little bit of parmesan cheese over the mozarella. YUM! I would highly recommend this recipe to anyone!

Great, and so easy to make! It does take a bit longer than the recipe says, however. Next time, I'm going to make it in the slow cooker. It was a bit too watery, so don't use too much water! Try it with cinnamon!

Apple Cheese Quick Bread
