About this Cook
I may not be a Master Chef but most people in this world aren't. But I do spend a lot of time outside using my favorite toy.....the smoker grill! I have made one sauce that is a huge hit in Maricopa County Fair and I am entering it yet again this year in the State Fair of Arizona. For more details stay posted.
My favorite things to cook
Ribs (every kind) Chicken legs and thighs, Ribeye steak, Pasta, Sauces ( variety )
My favorite family cooking traditions
My father and I at least 5 times a year have a grill-off we gather all our family members ( and some of our neighbors ) and cook what ever secret ingredient that our family members all vote on. The variety of what we create are endless and the people that taste it are often stunned by what we can do with a grill. It makes meeting new people fun and of course some family rivalries are best suited for cook offs!
My cooking triumphs
My very own personal Sugar-Free BBQ sauce was a huge hit in the county fair. People were lining up for my recipe! I never told them the secret though ......yet!
My cooking tragedies
I tried many times making pies and had some triumphs save for one......the Lemon Meringue Pie.....I have yet to perfect its tricky recipe.

Best Hamburger Ever
Very good burger recipe....only thing I did differently was NOT ADD the Onion soup mix....I balanced the flavors by adding a chipotle seasoning mix of my own invention but using a store bought chipotle seasoning works just as well....I also smoked it with hickory wood chips on the grill....overall after my changes in the recipe....it was Bombtastic!
