Balsamic-Glazed Salmon Fillets

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2008
I had gotten off work late last night and needed to rush home and cook dinner. The only thing we had thawed and fresh was 2 pounds of shrimp. So i hit the site for Balsamic glaze and found this, and it was WONDERFUL!!!!! Like some of the other viewers the smell at first was not that enjoyable, but after finished we decided to use it on everything.

Old-Fashioned Chocolate Fudge

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2006
THANK YOU! This was the fudge my grandmother always made and I couldn't find her recipe. She has been gone for 3 years and thats how long I have been deprived of this wonderful fudge. She always made it in her cast iron skillet. The ppl that had problems with it setting up, if its humid in your house, or raining outside, your fudge will fail.

Beer Bread I

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2006
I own my own cafe and needed a bread recipe that was fast & easy but good. Two out of three wasn't bad, this bread is fast & easy but NOT GOOD its O MY GOSH GREAT. I have made it plain, with italian herbs over top and with cheddar cheese on top each way is wonderful. Most of my customers have never had beer bread and they loved it, it is now a permanent part of my menu. Thank You so very much!!!!

Mom's Sandwich Spread

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2005
Man did this bring back memories. My dad used to make this for us when i was a little girl. This is one of the best comfort foods. We too ate it on toasted white bread and had plain chips and RC Cola. Thank you for making me take time for a wonderful memory.

It could just be my families taste, but this wasn't very good. Not enough taste, since my mother is a gourmet cook i've had better.

Honeyed Pork Chops

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2004
Good start... leave out the honey (too sweet), no water, no onion,no pepper, increase the oil to 1/2 cup, increase the ginger to 1 tsp., and add 1 tsp. garlic. Marinade all for at least 3 hours and grill, frying is soo unhealthy.

Better Than...Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2004
WoW! For YEARS I had forgotten about this cake, and it's my own. My mom started making this when I was young(a LONG time ago) This is a cake for everything, OR if you just want to treat yourself. I'm glad everyone that has tried it likes it. I'm a feeder (love to feed people), I inherited it from my mom.

Crawfish Fettuccine I

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2003
OH MY GOSH!!!!! If we could rate this 50 stars!, man this is goooooood stuff. Served this at a dinner party and everyone could not believe how good (NO GREAT)it was (is). The only thing I'll do different next time is not bake it in the oven, it sort of dried the fettucine out. But still it was awesome. Thanks X 100.

Christmas Turtle Candies

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2003
*WARNING* If you have TMJ do not try these. They taste great, but following the directions to the T will leave you with sore jaws, broke teeth, and lost fillings. I wish I had followed the other reviewers advise and fixed the caramels another way.

Baked Ziti I

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2003
Not a keeper. I thought with so many great reviews this one would be great. I followed the directions to the T, but the taste was not that good. Frozen Lasagna has a much better taste. My husband grew up on Italian food and he rated it so-so. It was a waste of time and money. Sorry.

Fish Chowder

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2003
If my family could have rated this recipe more than 5 stars we would have. This was so-o-o-o-o good. When my husband asked "What's for dinner?" I told him a fish stew (fish chowder) he was skeptical. But we love chowders and this one was better than any restaurant chowder. I did add a can of drained clams and about 10 shrimp. Thanks Amy!
