is the dough supposed to be sticky? they rose nicely in the oven then fell as they cooled, so i ended up with a thin crisp cookie that was a tad too sweet. my daughter took them to work & her coworkers asked for the recipe

the dough was too sticky to roll out so i just dropped them from a teaspoon. the dough tasted good,but the cookies were just so-so. i've had better

Apple Pie I

my pie also turned out watery even with the 2tbsp of flour. I would rather coat the apples with the sugar/flour/spice mixture then layer the slices in the pan instead of sprinkling on each layer. Mine also took a lot longer than 30-35 mins to bake with jonathan apples.if you dont already have one, invest in a pie shield because my pie stayed in the oven almost an hour

Brown Sugar Spiced Shortbread

pretty good...easy to make...I pressed the dough into a rectangle on the cooky sheet & cut into small rectangles...a good "not to sweet" treat...recipe doesn't make very many

Elvis Presley Cake

very good cake with excellent family reviews. I made the suggested changes of using a 20oz can of pineapple;1 1/3 c. sugar & 3 c. powdered sugar. We'll definitely have it again because my picky Dad liked it!! The cake is also pretty with the nuts sprinkled on top. It would make a good shower or wedding cake

Buttermilk Pound Cake II

very good moist cake. i doubled the vanilla & lemon flavorings. only baked it one hour,dusted with powdered sugar & it looked beautiful. ovens vary but no pound cake needs to bake for 1 1/2 hrs. use the toothpick test for doneness.

Richest Ever Chocolate Pound Cake

not moist enough, not chocolate enough, not dense enough. from the list of ingredients it should have been all of the above. buttermilk makes everything better, but not this cake!! Sorry carol
