Lower Fat Banana Bread II
My family really liked this recipe. It wasn't over sweet like alot of banana breads. I used real vanilla, not imitation. I also ran into a problem of my own, I ran out of baking powder, but I always have cream of tartar and baking soda on hand (and cornstarch),so I used them to sub the baking powder and then added the baking soda it called for. The batter tasted very strong. I thought I blew it! But all my kids give it a thumbs up, and it gets 2 thumbs up from hubby because it is lower in fat and sugar and taste great!

Snow on the Mountain II
I have made this recipe a few times. My daughter-in-law has her own gravy recipe she uses. It is always a hit with us, but we put all the ingredients that we want in seperate bowls. Like a smorgasboard. You can use the rice as a base and pile on the toppings you like. That way everyone is happy. Great for company too.
