Becky's Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2006
We loved this. Even the 9 year old. I used a rotisserie chicken to save on time. I think it adds a nice flavor also.

Mexican Turkey Burgers with Pico de Gallo

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2006
The whole family loved this. I didn't have coriander, but they still tasted great. Next time, I'll buy some coriander to go with it. We topped them with cheese, sour cream and salsa.

The Best Chicken Soup Ever

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2006
Husband and kids loved it. I thought it was a little greasy. I might try using chicken pieces next time instead of a whole chicken. Will definitely be making again.

Asparagus Medallions

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2006
This was just o.k. It was definitely a fast recipe, but something about taking a nice piece of pork and throwing some cream of whatever soup over the top, just doesn't seem right. Probably won't make again. Sorry

Easier Chicken Marsala

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2005
OMG! This was incredible. I'm not a big chicken fan so I'm always trying to find a recipe that I like. I couldn't get enough of this. It was sooo tender and flavorful. I doubled the Marsala and added a little flour at the end to thicken. Had to leave out the mushrooms because kids don't like them. Thank you so much!

Sorta Salisbury Steak

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2005
I hate to be in the minority, but we just didn't care for this. The first couple of bites were great and then it was "how do I finish this". My husband who usually will eat anything without complaint said we could get rid of this recipe. Maybe we're just not cube steak people. Sorry!

It's Chili by George!!

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2005
This was awesome. I've always just made chili using the chili seasoning packet and putting in some beans too. My husband said it was the best chili he's had. I did add a can of black beans too because we love beans.

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2005
This was wonderful. I had some already cooked chicken breasts so that speeded up the time. The whole family loved this - and that's unusual! Thanks.

Baked Ziti III

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2005
As noted by a previous reviewer, this made way more than could fit into a 2 qt. dish. I used two dishes and froze one. The taste was very good.

Pork Chops for the Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2005
Sorry, didn't care for this much. Used boneless pork chops and cooked on low for 8 hours. Too dry. I may try bone-in chops next time and cook for less time. We'll see.

Texas Ranch Potato Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2005
We thought this was really good. I too used the 1/2 sour cream, 1/2 mayo. I thought the ranch dressing packets were all 1 oz, but mine was only 1/2 oz, so could only make a 1/2 batch. Make sure you buy the correct size.

Apple Cole Slaw

Some of the people loved it. Some thought it was o.k. You just can't please everyone all the time. I thought it was very good. Next time, I'll add extra dressing.

Cheesy Ham and Hash Brown Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2005
I hate to be in the minority here, but no one at my house liked this, but that could have been because of the ham. It was one of the saltiest dishes I've ever tried. I'm not sure how I could eliminate that. Maybe cooking the ham prior to assembling? I also didn't use all the parmesan cheese. It seemed like way too much. Only used 3/4 cup. May try it again without the ham.

Darra's Famous Tuna Waldorf Salad Sandwich Filling

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2005
My hubby and I loved this. I don't do fish, so I subbed canned chicken for the tuna. I also prefer pecans instead of walnuts, so I threw those in instead. Will definitely make again.

I made this for Valentine's day because my husband is a chocoholic. It was wonderful. I used a chocolate pie shell and topped it with whipped cream. Thanks!

Quick and Easy Alfredo Sauce

We all loved this recipe. I added in some cooked broccoli and part of a rotisserie chicken and served over angel hair pasta. I went to eat the leftovers the next day, but my husband got to them first!

I've made this several times now. It always turns out great. My whole family loves it, especially the hubby. I put mushrooms on them the last time. The mushrooms were awesome!
