About this Cook
I'm a mommy of a beautiful little girl, but unfourtunately have to work for a living so when I can I spend my weekends baking!!
My favorite things to cook
Cookies, break and sometimes cake.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Pault, I'm not sure where it originates, and there's no actual recipe but its a family favorite consisting of potatos and balonga. So good!! And of course my moms Chicken & Dumplings!
My cooking triumphs
With a little help from friends who had a makeshift recipe for my moms potato salad, and a few adjustments I managed to master it after she passed away. Its the worlds best potato salad!!
My cooking tragedies
Bread machines suck. Thought it would be great but none of us liked how tough the crust was and sold the machine, hand made is far better!! I also tried to make a chocolate-chilli chicken, I can't remember the name, sounded great but no, it was aweful!

Easy Apple Cinnamon Muffins
They were so good!! I made mine in a mini muffin tin, filled full, but because there were so many apples (I used 2 1/2 because mine were smaller) there were a lot of spaces for the batter to expand. I did only bake for 15 minutes, because they were minis.Only thing I think I'd do different is maybe less butter in the topping to make it "sprinkle" better. They were VERY moist and a hit with my entire family. Now if I was making big muffins I'd be leary to fill them full, but I have a tiny mess where butter from the topping dripped.

Birthday Bones
I made these the first time for our little pom, I made them fairly small so I cut the time down to 15 minutes and they were perfect!! But rather than a cookie cutter I also just used a pizza cutter. I do have tiny gingerbread men & girls I may use for him at Christmas though!! He loves them!!
