Fat Free Refried Beans

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2004
I was cooking dinner tonight when I noticed at the last moment that I was out of refried beans! I quickly logged in to all recipes and found this. I used it with our chicken tacos and it was wonderful, even the kids loved it! I did not add liquid smoke or onions and next time I will decrease the amount of pepper...use half a tsp. Thanks

Yakisoba Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2004
This is a delicious recipe! I used 1/2 tbl of chili garlic sauce instead of chili paste which was just right for the kids enjoyment as well as the adults. I also used ground pork instead of chicken which allowed the sauce the soak into the meat...yummy!

Restaurant-Style Buffalo Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2004
The sauce in this recipe is excellent. However, the recipe for the chicken I changed. I mix 1/4 cup red wine vingar with 1 tsp sugar, 4 1/2 tbl Real Lemon Juice, 1/2 tsp basil. Used a pastry brush to apply to the chicken then seasoned with McCorm. Chicken. Bake on 425 for about 45 minutes. Excellent with the sauce from the recipe.

Easy Herb Roasted Turkey

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2003
There are so many recipes that have alot more ratings than this one...But this one is the BEST. I tried this last year and it was fantastic! I then tried a different one this year that had 200+ ratings thinking it would be better...it wasn't! Will continue to make this recipe for years to come.

This recipe was absolutely wonderful! At first it took some getting used to...but had left overs the next day and it seemed to taste so much better!

Burrito Pie

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2003
OH MY GOODNESS!!! This was HORRIBLE!!! Maybe I was expecting too much being that I am hispanic and know what hispanic food is suppose to taste like! "Normally" there is alot of wonderful flavors that flow through our dish. This is not an original hispanic type dish, so do not expect that when you cook it!

Overnight Caramel Pecan Rolls

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2003
I personally will not make this again. If you decide to make it, first: I would watch the time listed and second would be to go to the store and buy a can of cinnamon rolls, don't use the topping it comes with and that will delete all the waiting and mess. Then you can proceed with the rest of the recipe.

French Dip Sandwiches

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2003
I made this recipe with a Whole Boneless Beef Brisket, it was wonderful!!! The meat just feel apart when it was time to take it out of the cooker. The whole family enjoyed it. One of my children hates sandwiches, but said it was soo good. They want it again...they also said it would be great as a meal instead of a sandwich.

Red Skinned Potato Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2003
I personally do not know how to make very many salads, like macaroni or potato. I was asked to make potato salad for a Thankgiving get together, and I panicked. I look for recipes on-line and found this one. I tried it and boy was it great!!! Thank you for saving me!!!

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2003
This recipe is absolutely wonderful. However, I would not suggest making this for a party as it is very messy. I think that the only people that would want to see you or even themselves with stuff falling all over is your own family (actually is kind of fun that way). Maybe that is why some of the other views guest did not touch the dip.

Award Winning Chili

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2003
My husband seemed to enjoy this recipe, he has a stomach of steel, and will just about eat anything. I didn't not enjoy this recipe at all!! I used to try to make my own chili and the funny thing about it is that it tasted exactly like this one. Needless to say I stopped making my own recipe and will not be making this one either.

Italian Spaghetti Sauce with Meatballs

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2003
I used to have my 'own' recipe for spaghetti sauce until I tried this one, it is great!!! I would say to find a different recipe for meatballs, as this one was not very appealing to my family or myself.

Irish Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2002
My husband asked me to cook 'chicken & dumplings'. I did not know the first thing about how to cook it. I looked it up on this sight and found this recipe, the whole family wanted more than just one plate full. We will be having this more often.
