MMMMM... Brownies

Reviewed: May 31, 2012
Tried this and another top rated brownie recipe on this site for a graduation party I'm baking for. This recipe won a 5 star rating from everyone! No need to change anything. This is now my go to recipe.

Parmesan Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2010
Great recipe, especially if you have picky eaters. I baked mine at 375 for 30 minutes instead of frying. As another suggessted I melted the butter and stirred it into the bread crumbs. I also added 1/2 teaspoon garlic and 1/2 teaspoon oregano. Moist and delish!

Baked Potato Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2010
This soup was very tasty and my picky 8 year old loved it!! I followed some others advice and added more potatoes and decreased the basil to 1/2 teaspoon. A keeper.

Apple Crisp II

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2010
Simply delishish! My family devoured it. I made it in an 8x8 pan so I halved the recipe except for the topping. It was a bit watery but my husband said it didn't hurt it at all. Next time I may skip the water all the way. I did toss the sugar and spices with the apples plus added 2 teaspoons of vanilla. Also, I never melt the butter but cut it into the topping cold so it crumbles.

Elaine's Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2009
Good basic cookie. I added more peanut butter as many suggested. About 2 cups. Still wanted more peanut butter flavor. Hint: To keep cookies moist put a slice of bread in the sealed container with the cookies. They will stay good for days.

Best Ziti Ever

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2009
First time making ziti and it was a hit all around from my 5 yr old to the company we had over. I made it meatless and added some parmesan cheese to the top. I didn't didn't heat up the sauce or put the basil/Italian seasoning on the top as I didn't feel it was needed. I can't wait to make it again!

Simple Baked Apples

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2008
This was simple but delicious! My 6 year old son devoured two helpings! I had to omit the nuts and raisins because I didn't have any. I did sprinkle a little brown sugar on top too before baking. My husband and son added carmel topping to their's. It got rave reviews in our house. I will make this again soon. Thanks for sharing!
