I am in my early 50's and I love to cook and bake. I have two grown sons., who I love to cook for., but unfortunately.,we live in different towns....so I don't get to cook for them very often. I love to cook for my husband...and he really enjoys my cooking/baking. I like to cook this big platter of Caribbean Chicken.., different Pasta dishes., I also like to make this Breaded Pork Tenderloin dish...everyone loves!! I like to put bacon on my Turkey...my mom always did that...so now I do too! My Grandma loved to bake...and so do I! At Christmas., I bake all kinds of goodies and make up little trays for friends and family. I just finished preserving some jam....a lot of work..but very worth it!! I finally got my Berry Uncheesecake down to a science...it's so good and healthy too!! I recently got a new hand-mixer which was more powerful than I thought. I was making some cornbread muffins and I decided to just use the mixer a little ..instead of mixing it by hand....well...guess there was too much air taken out or put in? and they turned out like hockey pucks...still tasted ok...but looked awful!!
