Grandma's Chopped Liver
With the exception of first pan frying the liver in a bit of bacon fat, I stayed pretty close to the recipe. I did drop a raw, in-shell egg into the simmering liver until it was hard boiled then shelled it and added to the processor. I did not simmer the liver for an hour, but 15 minutes with the egg cooking and 15 minutes on its own. the three onion idea was great; I fried the onions until they were starting to brown. I will make this again, especially for a party

This makes one VERY LARGE BATCH, be prepared. One recommendation suggested 3 tea of baking powder & 2 tea of baking soda, & adding one egg with enough milk to make 1 Cup. The consistency was great. I added 3/4 C walnuts & 3/4 C cranberries. I did pat it out and it was too soft to cut so I froze it for 10 minutes & it sliced perfectly. Cut into 12 scones the servings were a more reasonable size and calorie value. Will make again, but probably half the recipe next time. They puffed up so beautifully!

Southern-Style Neck Bones
I thought this was a really good recipe but you have to remember this is for people that really really like to play with their food! There is a lot of glorious picking and delicious tidbits of flavorful meat but it takes time and patence; perfect for long chatty meals. I too added peppers (2 bird peppers finely chopped with seeds) and a stick of cinnamon. Loved it
