Sausage Gravy III

First time making Sausage gravy. Followed the recipe exactly and the gravy was a little thin for my taste so I added a little more flour to thicken. Turned out perfectly

Chicken Parmigiana

Bottom Round Roast with Onion Gravy

Mexican Pinto Beans

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

These are the first sugar cookies that have turned out perfect for me. Used confectioners sugar to keep the dough from sticking. Really easy to work with.

Beer Can Chicken

Hot Chocolate

Easy and delicious! Be sure to whisk the egg thoroughly and add a little of the warm liquid to the egg before adding to the mix. This will prevent the egg from scrambling. Pour some spiced rum for the adults! 1oz per serving.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Sangria! Sangria!

This is the best Sangria! Made it with Merlot, however any dry red wine will do. The brandy gives it a "kick" so it is a bit strong at first so do let it sit if you can. Have served it immedately after making it with no complaints :)

Cashew Raisin Rice Pilaf

This dish is very good and kid-friendly. Great for a picnic as is. Made it with the same ingredients as featured. It would be a help if the directions were edited to put the wild rice on first, then prep for the rest of the dish in the meantime. If I were serving this with ethnic food, I may add curry, or cumin depending on the main dish.

Smoky Chipotle Hummus

This is a great hummus recipe. I only used 1 chipotle pepper for heat and it is perfect for all. Would add another for heat, if serving at a cocktail party.
