Spicy Oven Fried Chicken

I'm not a fan of super spicy food but this has a great balance of flavor and spice. I made this for Chicken BLT Salad with Ranch dressing and it was delicious! Somehow I ended up forgetting to cook the chicken in the skillet before baking (next time I will try not to forget) and it still turned out fine. I turned the broiler on for about 2 mins to make sure the breading was still crispy.

Slow Cooker Texas Pulled Pork

This is an awesome recipe! I followed it exactly, but added a couple drops of liquid smoke as per a few other reviewers suggestions, and it turned out perfect! I'll try it without liquid smoke next time to see if it really makes a difference, but I'm sure it's delicious either way

Baked Buffalo Chicken Dip

This is a really good dip! I made this for New Year's Eve and everyone really enjoyed it. It was nice because I roasted a chicken the night before and saved the leftovers (which ended up being the exact amount called for) and used them for the dip. It is a little on the spicy side, but not too spicy (I am usually not a fan of spicy foods at all and I really liked it). I'm making it again for a birthday party soon!

Holy ! These were FABULOUS and so easy to make! I made them as a side dish for a dinner party with some of my husband's family and everyone loved them so much I ended up having to make them again 2 days later! Thanks so much for this awesomely crunchy recipe!

Chef John's Make-Ahead Turkey Gravy

This gravy was sooo good! It made Thanksgiving dinner so much easier to serve knowing that I didn't have to make a gravy at the last minute. All of my friends and family loved it and were really impressed that I made it from scratch! Thank you for this recipe!

Cream Cheese Penguins

Sooo cuuute!!! I made them for my best friend's baby's 1st birthday party and got so many compliments! The kids and the adults loved them! I like time consuming recipes so I had fun making the little penguins. Next time I'll make more because they were such a hit! Also, LOVE all of the pictures! Some people are so creative!

Whiskey Hamburgers

These sounded so good... They were definitely juicy, but all I could taste was the Jack Daniels. My husband LOVES whiskey, especially Jack, and even he said it was over powering. I gave this recipe 3 stars because we are going to try them again, only next time with less whiskey. Hopefully they will turn out better

Pork Chops Stuffed with Smoked Gouda and Bacon

OMG! These were amazing! I made them last night and couldn't think of a reason to make pork chops any other way after eating them. Our grill isn't working so I took the advice of other reviewers and seared them (in the same skillet I cooked the bacon in after pouring out some of the grease) and then baked them at 350 for about 30 mins (our pork chops were very thick). They were just right! We will for sure be making these again!

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

We love this recipe in my house! My husband requests it everyday of the week! Haha Sometimes I do add a bit of soy sauce to it, but with or without it's very good. Try with smoked gouda melted on the bread :-)

Blondie Brownies

I did use butter instead of shortening per other reviewers suggestions, and I thought these were really good! Other than the butter, I followed the recipe. It took a little longer to bake than I thought but that may have just been my pan or something. Next time I think I will add butterscotch chips to them :-)

High Temperature Eye-of-Round Roast

I have to say, this was one of the first recipes I found on this site and it is still my favorite. It was so hard for me to get used to not checking on it! But it turns out perfectly every time I've made it. Every once in a while I've used garlic and/or onion powder along with the s&p but for the most part, simpler is better with this one. A couple of times I've sliced some onions and put them on and under the roast which gives it a really nice flavor too. My husband loves it like that.

Country Fried Steak

I'd never attempted to make country fried steak before so this was my first one. I've also never used saltines as a breading so I was very curious to try. It was sooo good! My husband and stepson loved it too. I didn't change anything about the recipe and I really think this was the best cfs I've ever had! Thank you for your recipe!
