Frozen Mudslide

this was so good, but i get a chuckle every time I read a review and it says it is so good but here is what i did, i changed this to that, basically the whole recipe is different, so why give 5 stars on your own version and if yours is so good why are you even looking for a different one you are not even going to make, i dont know makes me laugh

Amazing Italian Lemon Butter Chicken

I rated this 4 because it was not as easy as it could be. Ive made this for years and here is what i do, dust the chx w/flour brown in little evoo remove chx-saute the rest of ingredients add your cream, wine bring to boil then add lemon juice and butter simmer until reduced and thick add bite size peices back to pot simmer for 15 minutes

Lebanese Rubbed Salad

Chocolate Hazelnut Fruit Crepes

These were good, love nuetella so i knew they would be good. Anybody ever wonder why the pictures always look different on the front page then when you click on recipe it looks completely different than the original pictures? HMM just a thought.

Roasted Garlic Zucchini and Tomatoes

this was good, but what i did first was, brown the zucc in a pan with evoo for about 5 minutes then roast in oven adding the onion and tomatoes and cook for 10 minutes that way the zucc in brown and the tomatoes are not over done- I did use red onions instead of white

Pineapple Coconut Bars

This was good, but left out the coconut and put in walnuts, after I took it out of the oven I drizzled some icing on top that i made with powdered sugar, milk and vanilla it was almost like an upside down pineapple cake

Candied Sweet Potatoes

I have made this for years but what i do is, take 1 can of yams, and 3 large yams( yams are sweeter than sweet potatoes) put yams in the microwave (saves on peeling and trying to cut them since they are hard) take the yam out of the skins and mix with the canned sweet potatoes then do the following recipe, i reduce the butter, my suggestion is taste as you go, add more if needed that way its not to sweet for those of who said it was. remember taste as you go that is what makes a good cook

Slow Cooker Beef Stew I

This is pretty good, however i did add some things that made it even better, I added 2 packages of stew meat seasoning, 1 large can of peeled whole tomatoes and about 2 hours before done i added 2 cans of drained cut green beans and 1 box of frozen peas, also added a bunch more potatoes and carrots

Chicken Asparagus Roll-Ups

This was pretty good. I did as someone suggested and put a little of the sauce in the middle. I don't mind if some one tweaks a recipe what bothers me is if they don't like it after they tweaked it a lot. Maybe the original recipe would of tasted better to them. Another words if you tweak it and make it your own and you don't like it, them your kinda to blame.

My Crispy Mashed Potato Pancake

this was good, the reason some may not of liked it had to be because there mashed potatoes were bland, this is the base to the recipe so if your potatoes were not good that is your fault not the recipe itself.

this is a good base, butfor my taste, I added a small can of chopped and drained chili's, also a small can of chopped, drained jalepeno's lots of garlic and cheddar cheese. salt and pepper to taste.

World's Best Pasta Sauce!

I thought this was really good. Someone mentioned that with fennel sausage it would be over kill adding the extra fennel. The recipe does not say to use sausage with fennel so if that poster used both it would of been her mistake. Also, I always put red wine in mine along with a little sugar. I always taste and see if I need more of anything to my liking, that's how you get the sauce you want, by tasting and adjusting to your taste.

Carla's Fruit Dip

I tried these 2 ways, the way this was written and then again I hollowed out the strawberries and used the new whipped cream with vanilla frosting added a splash of OJ and amaretto piped in the strawberries then dipped in some crushed graham crackers, got raves on both.
