Chewy Coconut Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2013
Used self-rising because I had recently bought 2 bags by mistake. They flattened out but are still OH-SO YUMMY! Had some mini-chocolate chips that I threw in the batch as well. Will be making again. And again. And again!!!

Amish White Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2013
It was fantastic!!! My twist is that I didn't have a bread pan so I used a bundt pan (same temp and time). It came out so soft and almost tastes like wonder bread to me. I will have to get a bread pan though because I want to use this for sandwich bread. Also, I halved the recipe. Worked just fine.

Royal Coconut Cookies

Reviewed: May 11, 2012
These were fantastic! Stayed chewy with no salty aftertaste. I didn't have butter so I used margarine stick (Imperial brand) instead. Also, I made what looked like 1 inch balls to me and it made over 4 DOZEN cookies!!! In my oven they needed the 14 minute mark. Even the ones I forgot about at the end of my dough, which baked for probably 18 minutes, were just less than hard but still great. I will absolutely make these again!!!

Buffalo Chicken Wings I

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2011
These were awesome! However, they are VERY VERY VERY SPICY!!!!!!!!!! I can't stress enough that if you don't eat spicy foods (like me) very often these will hurt your tongue and lips after eating them. Start with 1 (ONE) tbsp of hot sauce first. Then add more if desired.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2004
Holy Cow!!! This came out exactly how my mom made it! I was on cloud nine and 'remembering the winter days' with this one. I followed some of the other's advice though. I added 1 box of Swanson 99% Fat-Free chicken broth to it, some water, and also some frozen veggies 30 minutes before I added the biscuits. Word to the wise: If you don't have time to cook for at least 6 hours and think you will just cook on high for 3-4 hours, don't! My chicken wouldn't fall apart. I had to tear and shred by hand. UGH. My bad.

Big Guy Strawberry Pie

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2003
After I made the syrup I tasted it and it was a little sour. I was afraid my guests wouldn't like it but I added fresh strawberries and whipped cream which kind of made a perfect blend! All said it was really good. Did have trouble getting the crust to stay up on the sides of the pie pan.

This was pretty good. I'm just stuck on the ole sweet potatoe pie I guess. Easy to make though.

Angela's Easy Breaded Chicken

Reviewed: May 6, 2003
My family and I really enjoyed this recipe. I was looking for a low-fat way to enjoyed breaded chicken with my salad and this is it. I even had the leftovers for lunch the next day. Next time I'm going to try one breast each with BBQ, Ranch, A1, and any other sauce or dressing I can think of. Way to go, Angela. Thanks!
