Italian Meatball Sandwich Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2002
This was very good, but in the future, I would prefer to make my own meatballs. Highly recommend!

Straccetti

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2002
This was very tasty, but the sauce was so thin, it was like a broth. I would have prefered it to have a thicker consistency.

Different Chicken Cordon Bleu

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2002
Very yummy, but I did need to cook it for about 50 minutes, not 30. I also needed to cover with foil after about 20 minutes because the stuffing was burning.

Tantalizingly Tangy Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2003
This was the best meatloaf I have ever had. However, I did use seasoned breadcrumbs, some chopped onions and chilli sauce instead of ketchup. My four year old told me she wanted it everynight and she only has about fifteen things on her approved food list!

Broiled Pork Chops

This was OK at best. BBQ sauce would be better. Very vinigary.

American Shepherd's Pie

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2003
This was good and easy, but add a can of Leisure Peas for added sweetness and flavor. Very much of a comfort food.

This was not very good. It lacked flavor; the sauce was thin. Will not make again.

Fiery Pork Skewers

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2003
This was OK at best. The glaze wasn't thick enough to stick to pork.

Apple Filled Chicken in Pecan Creme Sauce

This was very exotic for a home cooked meal! I loved it, but would cut sugar in half next time. Delightful flavor.

Easy Caramelized Onion Pork Chops

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2004
I think people are missing the point with this recipe. Don't pull the pork chops out and let the onions carmelize; Leave them in until the liquid is evaporated(it takes much longer than the recipe calls for). The pork chops will seem dry at first, but when you leave them in long enough with the liquid, they become stewed and practically fall off the bone. Definetly double the onions, and don't cut them too thin. This recipe was wonderful if you do it right!

Jollof Rice

This was EXCELLENT! The chicken was falling off the bone. Don't change a thing! I used the same pot that I use when I make sauce; 8 qrt. The flavor was unbeleivable!

Gingered Pork Chops in Orange Juice

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2004
No flavor at all. I let the pork chops cook about 30 min longer and they were very tender, you could almost cut them with a fork, but it still didn't help the lack of flavor. The sauce was very watery, so after I removed the chops I added some flour. Will never make again.

Very bland. We added some Yoshida's Gormet sauce after we started eating which made it OK at best.

Two thumbs up for the Rempels. Hands down the best meatloaf we have ever had, and we rarely make the same meatloaf twice. Our search has ended!

The pigs at my house could not eat Easter brunch because they filled up on too many nuts! WARNING - ADDICTIVE!!! I also doubled the egg and used vanilla. Thanks for a new family keeper!
