Banana Crumb Muffins

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2012
The muffins were delicious! however, they didn't look anywhere as cute as the picture. The topping melted and made them all stick to the pan, so they were destroyed while trying to get them out :/ The muffin cups stuck to the topping on the pan so those were all ripped as well. Great recipe, tastes amazing.. just not a very good presentation. Still gave 4 stars because it could have been user error.

Portobello Sandwiches

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2012
For someone on a diet who hasn't had a "real" burger in a looong time, this was HEAVEN!! It is definitely on my top 10 recipes of all time list. Quick, easy, cheap and healthy!! (using lite mayo and less of it helps a bit more) The only change I made was adding a slice of provolone cheese on top and added red wine instead of the vinegar since I didn't have any. Delicious!! Thanks so much!

MMMMM... Brownies

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2012
Everyone else is right! Best. Brownies. Ever!!! I only changed it a bit and that's because I didn't have some of the ingredients on hand (made it before exactly by the recipe and they were amazing then too!) I used half brown sugar and half white. I also added peanut butter chips and a few walnuts. AAAMAZING!

Pasta with Kielbasa and Sauerkraut

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2012
Good starting point! I made only about half that amount of pasta, left out the white wine and added just a bit of mayo at the end to make it more creamy. I also sprinkled some parmesan cheese on the finished dish to give it just a bit more flavor :) Definitely appeals to German tastes. It's something different to change up your week!

Jamie's Cranberry Spinach Salad

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2011
Just finished the last bite and had to review!! I am just starting to learn how to cook and this salad made me seem like a pro! I toasted almonds (for the first time) and it was so easy but a great addition! I also added some chopped, lightly sauteed portabello mushrooms and a few mandarin oranges. I added gorgonzola cheese and the flavors blended perfect! Just like a salad I've had at a fancy restaurant!! Thanks so much for this recipe! :D

Light and Fluffy Spinach Quiche

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2011
Used less mayo, a deep dish pie shell, and fresh spinach. Also added some diced bell pepper and baby portabello mushrooms in with the layers. It turned out amazing! Made it twice already and just found this recipe 2 weeks ago :)

Pammy's Slow Cooker Beans

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2011
My husband and I loved this recipe!! It's just the two of us so we had it the next day for lunch as well. Didn't have a spare turkey leg so I just fried up half a pound of bacon and added that in. Served over corn bread! will definitely make again soon!

Meringue Kisses I

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2011
This was my first time making meringue cookies and I wasn't sure if it was going to be a hit or a miss. I didn't have cream of tartar or chocolate chips. I made the recipe without those ingredients, but added a teaspoon of honey when it said to add chocolate chips. Baked like the others who reviewed it did (200 for 30 min instead of leaving them in the oven overnight) and they turned out perfect! Made about 18-20 instead of just 12 and they were pretty good sized. Light and fluffy with a marshmallow like inside. UPDATE: They are just as good later and they store very well. They do stick to your teeth though, only down side.
