Cole Slaw

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2012
pretty good recipe.I like to use honey for the sweetener instead of sugar, realize sugar is sugar but honey does give my cole slaw a nice flavor. Also use a lot less vinegar and NO vegetable oil but the added vege's are very good.

Broccoli Chicken Casserole I

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2012
I have made this recipe for many years but I changed it a bit, used frozen mixed vege's,no mayo,or cheese or dry stuffing mix just browned the chicken, added soup mixture with frozen vege's some garlic and one half can of water or wine, excellent recipe, hubby loves it and it is easy for him to chew(especially without teeth).I also sub the breasts for thighs, they seem to have more flavor!!

Grilled Italian Hamburgers

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2012
The problem with mixing ground beef with pork sausage is you have to cook the meat completely through so the grd.beef is quite over cooked although wonderful as meat loaf!!

Mexican Pot Roast

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2013
I love cooking meat in the slow cooker and this looks wonderful except to much hot sauce I would reduce it to half the amount called for. Also meat has gotten so expensive in the last year or two that a four lb.roast is quite an investment and we sold our large freezer so can't freeze a large beef roast but may buy a smaller roast and cook it instead.

Perfect Baked Potato

Reviewed: May 12, 2013
I love bakers but I like to add vege's to mine and NO cheese because of the fat content of the cheese.I like to also load mine up and I do use a little sour cream with mine and I make it my full deal meal for the day.I also add small amounts of whatever meat I have on hand.Tonight I will grill some pork chops and have a baker on the side without all the goodies on it but I do use some spread instead of butter.

I did try this salad but found it lacking in flavor so I changed it a bit and added artichoke hearts and many other ingredients to bring up the flavor.Sometimes I will add chicken or pork to make it a complete meal that my Hubby will enjoy.

Baked Taco Dip

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2013
I make a complete meal from this recipe just add lettuce uncooked tomatoes, raw onion(green or reg.)one ww tortilla(heated in the microwave).I don't make dips because they ruin our appetite for dinner but this makes a complete meal easily.I also use weight watchers cream cheese because it comes in little individual containers and I can use less.Don't forget the sliced avocado for the top.
