Easy Devonshire Cream

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2012
I submitted this recipe after a friend and I experienced our first Tea while in Victoria, BC some years ago. We watched the others in the Tea house as they split their scone, spread the Devonshire Cream on then topped it with fresh strawberry preserves. I fell in love with this wonderful treat and came home and did my best to duplicate. This "cream" began a yearly tradition of having a Tea with mothers, daughters, granddaughters and friends. So much fun and so many memories made. Enjoy!

Mom's Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2009
I can't keep it in the freezer! This is so good, I am glad my zucchini plants are cooperating by producing so much this year. Truly one of the best recipes for zucchini bread I have ever made. I, too, used half brown sugar and half white sugar as other reviewers had stated, then followed the recipe. Thanks for sharing your recipe. Everyone loves it!

Bread and Celery Stuffing

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2004
I have been using this recipe now for two years, and it is the best! I like the fact that it is NOT salty as most purchased mixes are. I also find that I can make this in the morning and save room in the oven by cooking it in the slow cooker, if you like a moist stuffing, this works great. Thanks for sharing your recipe Carlota, it disappears quickly.

Grandmother's Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2005
I have tried many oatmeal cookie recipes, but have found this to be the very best! The extra step of placing the raisins in the vanilla and eggs for an hour or more, really moistens and plumps up the raisins. Interesting recipe, awesome results. Thanks for sharing your recipe Sheryl.
